Have you mixed up sm2 and H2M by any chance? Because it really sounds like you're talking about H2M because when sm2 announced they was switching to the MWR Engine they made it aware you didn't need an official copy of the game while H2M did. Anyway it definitely was a shame both got shut down especially sm2 imo since that looked absolutely great. Also Plutonium never received a C&D

Good video anyway because it really was shitty of them giving up peoples hopes by sending the C&D the day before release. And steams return policy truly does suck, anything over 2hrs game time isn't eligible for a refund, personally I'd like to see that raised regardless.
