@@JUMP if you insist on using the highest tier troop yes, those troop type icon aren't there just for show, my guess is tactical are to support attacking troop type while paint for defensive troop type, with that in mind paint won't have much effect when using attacking troop type and vice versa
What are the best hero's and formations to use in the current new engine in RRL ? I know wacko isn't useful after gen 6 So strongest infantry hero is a must. Should rally leaders use daryl as a captian as well as joiners?
On your first question. Strongest stat infantry hero - Joker (level 4 and up) - Daryl (resos to the strongest stat heroes) 65-12-23 formation. Rally leaders shouldn’t use daryl. Protection buff doesn’t apply to them. In some gens Daryl is the best option tho.
@@JUMP we had a battle today in rrl. Our rally lead was just a bit stronger than his opponent. We had more troops in rally and better stats but still lost. The opponent had Daryl resonated with gen10 and as captain. We still don't understand how we lost
The captain part won’t matter here, however Daryl is better than Connor in Raid. Overall skill effect of the first one is 110%, whilst Connor only has 80%. For joiners it does matter to have Daryl as lead hero

Daryl is the best joiner hero. I’d suggest checking out Kratos’ sheets for more context on rally joining! :)

As a rally leader, it doesn’t affect the rally at all. This is only specifically for joiners 😉
