- These guys sure got a huge buff from dd1. This probably could've been done way faster but I couldn't find a way to knock him out of the air so I had to just sit and wait for him to land each time. Last phase is also kinda difficult to have good dps in due to how much he spams the stamina drain roar and bolide. Fun fight overall though.

you don’t anymore, you do get a small amount of hyper armor though which is useful against groups of enemies
The different creatures in this game, they look amazing, i miss all the details when im playing cuz im to busy trying to dodge some mad attack.

I'm surprised no Riotous Fury for strong burst dmg to the heart. can easily 2x Outdamage strong attack on heart and you can probably do it twice before the drake stands up again when knocked down.
I actually couldn’t get that skill in my playthrough because Readvent of Calamity got canceled from doing the main quest
@@Avohkii_ I’m pretty sure it’s tied to the affinity with said maister. I think a couple of flower bunches will set you straight.
@@Avohkii_you can still get it, I used high lvl heals consumable on the meister until I got it
What is the skill layout for the drake fight?
I cant think of a single fighter skill that gives me a dodge roll wtf. So I guess you just modded the block to be roll and block ?
the skill is hindsight sweep, you roll then followup with a counterattack. there are no mods here
How are you managing your stamina?😮
He mostly uses regular attack so it doesn't drain any stamina. Rarely uses hindsight slash or compass slash.
But that doesn't say he isn't being efficient with stamina too as he keeps on top of it!
Why the drake seldom use roar to reduce your stamina to zero? My fight it used roar a lot to reduce my stamina to zero & like to fly up in the sky out of my reach to use its magic more than 50% of the time. The drake i often fight are very smart & use roar to reduce my stamina to zero first then fly up and drop on me. Your stamina also reduce very little when u use your skills & running. Lastly your stamina also recover at an insane rate, i think almost three times of my recovery rate. What is your secret?
He is clearly at a very low carry weight. You can also eat food at campsite to boost recovery speeds, however I do not see that buff above his health. There are also a few different ways to bolster your stamina pool. Lastly enemy behavior is purely based on rng while we all may fight the same enemies, however, no 2 people are going to experience the exact same fight. Your question seemed to be geared more at pressing the poster on something you find suspicious instead of trying to learn. Get Gud.
@@Beelzebubbly_ My weight is always light weight and I always eat food that boost stats & recovery speed via camping before hunting drake. I dare say keeping stamina above 50% most of the time when soloing drake is quite hard for a fighter. I assume he is at very light weight & not using endgame weapon. Let me know when you can get as good as him in your management of stamina when soloing a drake as a fighter and you killed it solo. I think many here also want to know his secret.
@@Toh2486If you still find yourself questioning his weapons, he is using the shield of vernworth and the threaded cudgel neither of which I would consider to be endgame.
I was average weight, if you’re above that your movement and stamina regen get slowed. I don’t think I had anything else affecting my stamina regen. In general just don’t spam skills and your stamina should be fine.
Also the drake used his roar a ton, but he only uses it in his last phase, (3 to 2 health bars left I think). Which took up a majority of the video lol.
why does the drake I fight run away so quickly?
Doing too little damage, leaving him uninjured for too long (especially when theyre airborne) or AI... because the AI drake already fought other NPC previously and just flies to despawn.

Just have the skill where u do a backroll and stab skill in your ability. It plays the same role as rolling in Elder scrolls
Same drake in DD1 was way more dangerous. This one is weakling.

@@samuraijaco1 I've had two freezes in Vernworth but that's it. Almost all combat encounters run fine for me.

called riotous fury now, pretty much the easiest and first maister skill you unlock.
why not use tusk toss?
It takes a bit too long for it to go off, spamming light attack/other skills is just better
