Hello and welcome to another SEGA Lores video where I cover the lore and development of the cast from the original House of the Dead game developed by SEGA AM1 (Wow Entertainment). In this video, we'll be covering the origin and concept of Agent G, a mysterious agent within the AMS who keeps his personal information classified from anyone. He was was assigned to monitor Dr. Curien's activities with his experiments and investigate the status of the missing research staff with his partner, Thomas Rogan. As a person with a digital personality, he will use any means necessary to complete his missions by exterminating every creature in site.

My first exposure to The House of the Dead was Zobio and Zobiko as a playable character in Sonic & Sega All Stars Racing for Wii and DS.

Agent G in Hotd 1 (1998), Hotd 2 (2000),
Hotd 3 (2019), Hotd 4 special (2006),
Hotd Overkill (1991) & now Hotd remake (2022).
Remake takes place in the same year as the OG, aka 1998, if you mean release year of OG HOD it was 1996 game was set 2 years in advanced!

Eventually! I'm trying to make SEGA Lore videos to align with new releases. Regarding House of the Dead, I'll probably focus on the cast from The House of the Dead 2. If SEGA rereleases ports for 4 & Scarlet Dawn, I'll do Kate Green and Ryan Taylor.

I would love to know who his Special voice actor is. Always thought his voice fit him for a young 2003 version of G
I am curious about Scarlet Dawn. When you said prequel game exploring his name All I could think of was Washington trying to figure it out in Overkill, it was a fun gag but I would love to see a more serious take.
If a prequel game was made, I assume that it'll probably be developed by SEGA of Japan from the time when I interviewed him on my HotD fan site. It's still unknown to tell if Overkill is either a prequel or another universe unless SEGA confirms it.

There's supposed to be a House of The Dead prequel movie in the works, right? Wonder if G will be in it?
Nope hahaha, That would be cool but unfortunately there are only two HOTD films. And they are both garbage.
@@DrScottnik No i mean the new Sega movies, not that Uwe Bowl crap. Stuff like Sonic. There was supposed to be new movies based on different Sega IPs announced before the pandemic and i'm wondering if they are still doing them or if we're just gonna get Sonic.
@@SgtSega Oh yeah, they had announced a Rent a Hero film and a Streets of Rage and Altered Beast project back in 2016. But I have a feeling those may have been scrapped. May see them pop up again after the success of Sonic but will have to wait and see.
