We all have the same overall concept of serving those who are blind or visually impaired, but we are all independently operated and provide our own employment opportunities and services. That long cane is broke, it ahould have a roller on the end that touches the floor. I know because mine has the roller though I live in england uk. Maybe in america they think the roller isn’t needed.
TylerLighthouse Well my long cane has a roller on the end because I don’t want to damage it by tapping it on the ground. Tapping it on the ground like that is a good way to damage the joints in the cane and cause problems with the folding and unfolding.

On descending stairs, a modified diagonal floating at a 45° angle above the stairs is much more fluid and allows for a rapid descent down the stairs.
I worked with a group called the lighthouse for the blind is this the same thing

very cool ! Many canes here do as well. We can change them out with a variety of tip options as well!
