If you're having trouble with the sign and its secret switch at 12:10, I needed to revisit Murray's lanterns to fight more pirates in order to use every retort and insult, not just learn them. When Murray tells you "I've seen enough. You might just be ready to..." the secret switch will be unlocked with the quest item he gives you.

For the insult sword fighting I’ve gotten 19/20 but finished the fights do I have to go back to a checkpoint to try again or is there somewhere I can fight again?
Its crazy not a single guy mentioned the easter egg at 5:50 at alfredo and bill haha.i mean 2 Brothers in red and green with mustache talking in italian dialect want you to do a jump'n'run? Come on guys thats clearly super mario and no one saw it 🤣🤣
Have you learned all insults and retorts? You can check that in the commendation tab, once you learned all of them the talking skull tells you where to find the hut and activate the bridge
Next time you try and explain the sword fight, make sure to mention you need to learn them first because i went in to fight and nothing showed up becuase you can return to learn them after starting the fight
The monkey Island games are complete nonsense. Thats why they are this good and enjoyable Sea of thieves really did it. They catched the unique atmosphere. This Tall tale is by far the best one and the most enjoyable from all of the tall Tales in SoT. I think you have to know the games to fully appreciate it though.

@@dinosgewrgiou1815 dude. That doesnt make any sense. Monkey Island without Nonsense quest would be like Pirates of the Carribian with a sober Jack Sparrow. They really found a middle way because in the original Monkey Islands you have sooo much more nonsense you have to Deal with. And also I know a lot of non Monkey Island Fans which also enjoyed the tall Tale because it is also fun for mainstream Player. The easter eggs just add another flavour to it

Just spent two hours trying to figure this out only to get stuck in a glitch spot on the island. Couldn’t move and couldn’t get out.

on the broken bridge i dont see the secret button on behind the sign and the bridge still not up -_-

this sht not work for me, When I try to do 2 left on safe, it fast move on 180 degrees, i cant fix it
Do you input the correct combination for the safe? The combination is random and not everyone has the same
same as shown in the book, but the problem is it turned 180 degrees in left side and i cant do anything with that

melee isle is by far the worst and bad designed tall tale. you have to figured out too many nonsense to progress and end this misery.
