Man this was enough for me to think twice about even pulling my engine out at all haha. Good workaround though. Gotta save that back!

It's not that bad. Just a few minutes of "how's this going to work, damn this sucks". I actually find it easier to put them back in. Not sure why but they always seem to fall in but struggle out. But yeah any extra leverage you can use helps your back. Best!

So I love how everything came off for you no problem. If it were me I would have rounded or stripped bolts by the time it came out.

I honestly have done so many of this model, I think I could do it blindfolded. Unlike many, all the hardware was pretty rust free on this one, some of it was even finger tight which is a scary lesson for anyone buying an old bike or any mechanical equipment. It was a piece of cake.

@@theeddies Yeah, I found the same thing on one of the GL's I got, many of the bolts on the back end and the motor where just finger tight. Scary thought really! Well what ever the reason it as good to see you not struggle with rusty bolts cause man that sucks!

    how much engine wiegh??

About 150 pounds. Weight is actually not the biggest issue though. It is not too heavy to deadlift. But it is awkward to lift and move it through a narrow space. I have done by just straddling the bike, lifting and moving the engine sideways. The method in the video is just a safer and less taxing alternative.

@@theeddiesNot bad at all. Do you much riding time on one of the those moto bikes?

@@davidnelson6893 I have ridden several CB450's. I would not say I have a lot of hours on them. Not compared to my Triumphs and Harley.

@@theeddies That was first for honda to double over head cams with 450 twin torsion bars that twisted to hold the valves closed! I just think are cool

@@davidnelson6893 They are an interesting design and a fun bike. A little underpowered for traffic in my area but make great in-town or rural bikes.
