@@DarkandTwistedWhisper the Halfling in my icon is a Barbarian named Cordie who recently survived Tomb of Annihilation. She rescued a Drow male from a mirror, protected him through the whole tomb and is now married to him. She would full on carry him out of danger. He was spiteful to her until she took him aside right before the final battle and gave him her funeral plans. Most of which were giving him her share of the loot and directions to her family's inn. She promised to keep him safe and if he went back to the Underdark she'd be breaking that promise. He was so touched by it that afterward when Cordie wanted to get him out over finding loot he wasn't mad. They left and went back to her family's inn. She even offered to come back to the Underdark with him to keep him safe. If that was what he wanted.

@@GreebleClown we all did. Barely. Two party members died but we had ways to incarnate them. It was pure luck. Our Paladin was a tiefling and was able to swim in the lava and we all had trickster gods within us. We didn't kill him but he got so low he fled. We were pissed.

Awesome Totoro123 That’s cool!! My favorite part of the campaign, which actually never was in TAZ, was the town of Phadelin itself. They had a gang called the ‘red brand’ there that killed a few of our party members while my friend and I were at the inn gossiping with the locals. And we killed Klarg lol.
This sounds like the plot to one of my d&d games. But the dm doesnt usually sound that calm and the sadistic torture is not a thing although I think it's more interesting that way.
