I was told when I was younger That I had dyslexia and as I got older in my 20s and I was told that I had dyslexia and anxiety so the two together it's very challenging for me but when I see you doing all that you're doing I try to think I have a superpower I look at myself as if I was you and I just want you to know that have watched all your videos What keep me going everyday thank you for the support

I have autism/mild dyslexia. I'm 39 years old. My neurological developmental disorders aren't a superpower in any way. It's ruined my life. If you think your dyslexia or autism, etc.. is a superpower to you, then fair enough. But please remember it isn't a superpower or a gift for everyone. I wouldn't change myself. And yes, some parts of my autism/dyslexia can be a benefit to me. But there are alot of negatives as well to having learning difficulties, like dyslexia, autism, adhd, etc.. Richard Branson is perhaps the lucky few. But I wonder if he would feel the same if he was in a dead-end job or on disability benefits as someone with learning difficulties. I'm all for embracing positivity ✨️ but not everyone feels it is a gift

It's helped me to be successful, would you prefer him to say everyone with it will never succeed.

@alisasmith9052 no, I've not got victim mindset. I'm just saying having a lesrning difficult isn't this great superpower for everyone. Yes, some ppl can luckily enough succeed in life. That's their experience. But not everyone feels the same. Instead of putting my comment down and being critical, why don't you saying something constructive instead? I don't mind listening to any ones feedback. But when you start being judgemental then your comment isn't valid. Just my opinion though.

I was misdiagnosed with Dyslexia when I was 6. I was disruptive and didn't concentrate in class. So they had me assessed and she said I had it. I didn't. I was being abused at home. All the so called symptoms and signs of a dyslexic are the same as an abused child. I had already been robbed of my childhood and because of the misdiagnosis I was robbed of my education too. Labelled. In the 90s dyslexia was classed as being special. Learning difficulties. Thick. All completely wrong for children who are actually dyslexic. I was told at uni by two educational psychologists I didn't have even mild dyslexia. It shocked me. As I believed them my whole life. Absolute mess. So please don't label children as something they are not unless you're completely sure. Abused children are misdiagnosed with ADHD, Dyslexia etc.. All the time. It's so wrong. It's tragic.

These days everyone who was disruptive at school and didn’t concentrate seems to blame a learning disability.

These days dyslexia has become an all too normal part of the 🌎 world around us. We can no longer say dyslexic people are all special, most people who say they are dyslexic have no particular talent for anything.

Albert Einstein, a famous theoretical physicist, who won the Nobel Prize in Physics in 1921 who has become synonymous with intelligence and wit was Dyslexic. Everyone is born with their own unique gifts.

Honestly... I don't know how to explain this but perpetuating that NDs like Dyslexia and autism are superpowers can be damaging and places an unrealistic expectation and potentially reinforce stereotypes.
It's done with good intentions but not everything has to be framed in a positive way of 'You're unique because of your ND condition.' How about 'you're unique because you're you.'?
The ND condition is just a different way to seeing the and thinking about the world. Have people understand that instead of framing it as 'hey, they'll be even better than regular people as an employee'
Because for a lot of employers they still would rather have second best than deal with giving accommodations.

Just getting a diagnosis is a major issue ,its supposed to be assessed and they have the tools to do it ..what did she say ,its a brilliant way of thinking ... there's no rapid rise in Ai ..these people live in a utopian state of mind ..im done

How many times is This Morning going to rinse & repeat interviews & subjects. They have done dyslexia before, stalking, affairs, con artists etc… you really can’t think of different subjects. So many things are happening in the UK and you keep the same subjects on a cycle all the time plus holly & phil are draining to watch.
