Great job unloading, 24 tons is a lot of material. Stay safe

You did an excellent job on that dump. Pulling up with that weight in the top could have easily turned it over with a slight divot, but you put it down so you could safely pull forward. I really like how you have a laid back approach to everything. You seem like nothing gives you much anxiety.

Good thing it wasn't windy. That load was like a tick hanging on.

Hopefully one of these days you'll come across a mud pit like John Candy had in the movie Stripes. Lol.

Question = Why didn't you just inch forward when you had the bed up high instead of making 4 piles???
    Enjoy your videos.

Back in the late 70's into the early 80's my dad used go deliver shingles, tar paper, green board to new construction homes. Anyway all the trucks were were Ford F 700 with a scissor lift bed. The truck had a small ladder. I believe they were supposed to carry everything up the ladder and leave on the roof(shingles and tar papper) and put the green board in where the bathroom was in the house.
So my dad would back up to the house to test for soft ground. If it was good he would pull slightly forward and raise the bed. Back up to the truck was close the the wall and lower the bed as close to the roof as possible. He took packs of shingles to make stairs off the back of the truck to unload faster and easier. Other drivers saw what he did a tried it. Some tore off eaves, and did all kinds of damage. They were told to never do that again. One dude was trying to snitch saying that it's how my dad did it, the owner replied that my dad hadn't tore a roof off of a house either.
My point is some people don't have enough intelligence to check for soft ground, so with your dump being top heavy with a lot of product up front. All it takes is a soft spot for the trailer to lean, then the weight at the top drags it over. All it takes is a couple
dumba$$ people to screw it for everyone.

End dumps tip over, the ground's gotta be pretty level, you lower a bit to move.
...I'd a been long gone after dumping my transfer dump slam-banger buckets. ...Long gone.
A transfer dump is a bucket on a truck, with a dolly pulling a trailer with another bucket.
Unhook, then dump the truck bucket. Back up over the tunge to the trailer, then slide in and dump the trailer bucket. Put it back together and go for another load. ...it's a gas!! Slam-Bang!!

Tip it up till the load is up to the tailgate then lower all the way down move forward give a gap and go up all the way again you should be near empty then those tip over axles products tend to stick around each side of the hoist and there lies your problems most of the time or uneven ground makes them fall over seen a few go over oh please stay in the truck when your tipping to do not stand on the step or ground if it goes over your more safe been in the cab as if the trailer rolls it may pull the prime mover with it and there is the proublem if your out. Of the cab you will work that out tho you will see one on it side some were one day hope not tho
