How did you just get the K&N filter by itself, it only sells as the whole K&N intake system. Or, does the PRL intake system come with that K&N air filter?
Emissions system problem power may be reduced. Popped up. Any tips on getting this fixed? Just installed exactly like the video. Please get to me asap. In dont wanna drive 200miles and get it broken done lmao
I never got that message I would recommend take it to your local dealership and get checked out or check it with a obd scanner that could be something else.
@@arturosantibanez97 hmm, yeah I have a k&n filter with the PRL pipe. I used my scanner and it said Intake Air Leak. But see no loose ends in the intake.
It’s better for your engine takes colder air then hot air. Sounds good With just the filter cone. But I rather get colder air and the stock set up was tested and performs way better
Stock means no aftermarket parts. Many of the late model performance parts do not add performance. They may look cool, add sound, but don't add power. Most manufacturers offer optimized stock parts from the factory. Older vehicles sometimes benefit from aftermarket parts because the manufacturer's original design wasn't efficient.
Hi guys put the factory intake back on and quit giving ppl bad advice these aftermarket corny intakes are designed and tested at wide open throttle with the hood open something you will never do driving this family sedan the car comes from Factory optimally tuned for performance and efficiency all you will do for all of you watching this is burn more gas trying to hear a corny swooosh sound and lose your low end torque big time now tell me I’m lying 😂🤙😉
So let me elaborate a bit if you are tuning this vehicle then whatever floats your boat have at it bolt on wise but even then your taking away from the way the car was designed to run at optimal efficiency and PERFORMANCE the first thing you lose with air intake off the rip especially without a TUNE is low end torque and you start to burn more gas if I were you I’d just drop a k&n filter in that puppy and be done with it my wife has the 1.5 turbo awesome engineering great on gas so imagine the 2.0 turbo must be even better performance wise 🤙🤙🤙
Love it❤️💯

Links to the products please ?🙏
What size is the filter?
Nice video, do you have an aftermarket Blowoff valve on your Accord? If yes, which one did you install?
I don’t have one the only
Noise would be from the intake sounds good with out a blow off valve
@@arturosantibanez97 Thank you!
Sounds crazy u should get a sock for that filter
Did you get the full k&n air filter kit that’s like $300 or just the cone by itself that’s like $100?
By its self just a prl tube and the adapter and filter
It’s okay that’s how I have mine without the box but I put the drop in filter because it socks up more heat without the box cover
I did that too
How is it now ? I also have a 1.5 just trying to hear that turbo a lil more lmao
I just replaced it with the k&n drop in filter
@@arturosantibanez97 any difference with the drop in filter ?
No,not really just too quite now.
What exhaust are you running for it to sound this way broski?
It’s fully stock brother
Bro I jumped on here to ask the same exact question
Your missing the air box so you don’t pull hot air but still cool
You right I just went to Stock with a k&n drop in filter

I went with a drop in filter from k&n instead

Hey man did you notice a drop in low end torque on yous
I didn’t because I didn’t had it long enough
@@arturosantibanez97 damn I noticed mine immediately. Going from a stop seemed like it was slower accelerating
I just went back to only the k&n filter drop in one
When am I getting paid for the camera work..😂

@@arturosantibanez97 but all those three size fit even the adapter u got on ebay it fitted with the intake u got on amazon
Yeah just try another filter might work with a different one i switch mines with a drop in filter from K&n
Why did you switch back to stock intake and just did the drop in k&n? I want to this set up but I seen the cone filter hits your hood

Added sound, but minimal gain in hp/tq. Rip off like ALL the other CAI on the market.
I went back to stock and just a k&n drop in filter
sorry brother new to this stuff wthat does stock mean and also so this combination doesn't make it go faster? just louder right brother?

It’s colder air the other one is just for sound and hot air also it’s been proven that the drop in filter makes more
