this was too difficult for me- what do you suggest for me tobecome successful at this. i apparently need a lower gradient as i could not sing the melody during the bass exercise and i wan't sure what a bass line even is. any help to start me off with some wins would be greatly appreciated.

Learn to sing Intervals and if comfortable progress to Chords. Bass lines are made up of the chord tones!
