Allotted: Comp 51%, Non comp 87%
- Comp 3.69% and below, fully allotted (bid 3.64%)
3.7% * 182/365 * 30,000 = $553.48
$2 CPF invest fee
Net deduction = 30,000 - 553 + 2 = 29,449
From $52K to $22K
Maturity date: $30K to be refunded to CPF IA on 23 Jul 2024 based on calendar.

5:43 I don't get the logic you put out here "I don't want HDB to deduct so much of my CPF" for the reason you invest in T-bills so as to shield the OA money from getting deducted from your CPF. Since you said that the 5% downpayment is already less than 20k (which is the minimum amount in OA before you can purchase any T-bills anyway), how is investing in T-bills related to the 5% downpayment for the BTO? Also, the 5% is fixed upfront so there is no uncertainty there.

I have more than 20,000 to retain in OA before T-bill subscription.

Hi Chris. thanks for sharing. have u computed the difference between investing the 30k in t bill at 3.7% versus leaving the 30k in ur OA to earn 2.5%? what is the true profit? as i understand money taken out from cpf will essentially lose 2 months of interest in cpf. pls correct me if i am wrong.

2.9% for 1 month missed, 3.2% for 2 months missed, for breakeven calculation.
