If I could start my account with any epics in the game, I'd probably choose Rector Drath and Tayrel. Both absolutely amazing for progression. Outside of that though, the other 6:
- Seer (I want her so bad)
- Toragi (Can easily make your Clan Boss team better)
- Godseeker Aniri (I want her BAD, my Sand Devil team is struggling)
- Demytha (Surprisingly use her a lot more than I thought, very versatile)
- Geomancer (Obviously)
- Skimfos the Consumed (Turned my Fire Knight team around)
I had a blast recently experimenting with Sachi and a team of self revivers. Brakus, Nogdar, and Sun Wukong with Sachi helped dominate in arena. Sachis passive will activate when one of the others revive. Atleast one or two random enemy's will have fear debuff cast on them if she kills an enemy also reviving a random dead ally. Plus Brakus the shifter is bringing his own fear debuffs to the table. If you want to control through fear, this a good way to do it. Probly any other self revivers would work. Aside from that little cheat in her passive, Sachi is just a really solid epic champ. She helped me break the stalemate I was experiencing in a couple areas.
Crio was huge on my account. Helped me get into gold 5. He is a great champ to control waves too. He is super under rated.
He was my second most wanted epic chamo after geo. He is insane for fws and fire knight hard. Also if built fast he is amazing for doom tower and works well with tormin and yakarl.
Not to mention dt hard waves

He got me to and through spider 20 finally, I could not do it before I got Criodan. And arena... yeee he's good on live arena too, people don't ban him and regret dearly later.
You’re not crazy. I started using Tagoar based on your recommendation and he’s such a staple. Such a great speed booster, healer, reviver and reasonable damage!

Great vid! Love the Tagoar love! You actually convinced me on him months ago and he is one of my most used champs! Criodan is so underrated! I use him in my Spider 24 team and in my Ice Golem as well as sometimes in DT and FW!
9:42 I love my Criodan, I’m still 2 resets away from getting Yakarl, but my Relentless Criodan paired with Gnut and Elva have been the core to my hard DT wave progression team and he is an absolutely indispensable part of that core.
Venomage has a good conditional damage reduction passive. I'm a huge fan of Venomage and love that that stacks with Decrease Attack.

I go back and forth on Godseeker and Geo at top spot, but 100% agree with your list.
Hotatsu has to be on my “starter” list. His kit is perfect for CB even until Ultra Nightmare
He's one of the best Champs for ice golem too.
Tagoar helped me finish the Orc Crypt in FW, and I didn't even have to upgrade him to rank 6 (He is the only rank 5 in my FW team). But after this, I will definitely rank him up to 6 stars sometime.
For me, the three biggest game changers in early game from the epics were Deacon, Seer and Doompriest.
Dhukk, Klodd, Tuhak, Basher, Rector Drath, Anax, Maneater, Skullcrusher, Godseeker Aniri were also huge additions and improved generally or in few areas my game. There are many Epic champs that I like or are useful, but these are the ones I noticed the most that added something to the game.
E.g. Mausoleum Mage and Miscreated Monster were also huge additions, if I got them earlier (but they are still very helpful and I love them). Criodan is also a later addition, who enabled dealing proper Freeze debuffs, he is very useful.
From the list, I don't have Geo and Demytha yet.

Pulled geo on my account 2 days ago instantly got him six stared and he took my cb team from 2key nighmare to 3key ultra nightmare i just cant believe how big of an impact this champ had on my account since i pulled him

I just started a F2P account a little over a month ago and was in need of healer/speed/reviver support when I pulled Tagoar among one of my first epics. It's a bit lame he doesnt have the turn meter increase like other speeders but damn that swiss-army-knife power he instantly brought was awesome. Even more awesome I only had a few epic books and threw 2 on him to get his speed boost CD on 3 and he was instantly ready to support my team. Initially I was a bit disappointed when I pulled him, but I now love the guy
You mentioned Ursala, but you never actually showed her. She was my first Void Epic, and it was AMAZING. I still think she's the best reviver in the game, and i have multiple copies of Pythion and Duchess.
I think he meant Godseeker Aniri as she was the only champ he showed but not mentioned by name at the end.

I'm still in the early game and pulled a geomancer and it changed everything. Was my 4th lvl 60 champ and went up 2 stages in the clan boss, higher stages in dragon now and started doing the early stages of irontwins.

I don't have any of these unfortunately. But the Epic that has been the most game changing for me is Rector Drath. Having her heal and revive maxed has definitely structured how I build other champions.
Thanks Ash i've seen it seems like 100s of your vid's every time I get a new Champion I look for your guides and watch I dont always go same strategy as you but they always helpful. The ones you nominate are all good but because you have so many Legendary you have numerous others with all sorts of skills so you dont need Skullcrusher Epic with AoE Counter Attack and you dont need Helicath or an AoE Block Damage (I could add maneater AoE unkillable but block Damage is better) so for a 'free to play' player with a few legendary I think These guys should both be in the top 8. (Duhr was my first Epic who could revive more than one and my first one i got to 60 But Now I am able to upgrade to Tagoar he is great. I just got skull crusher but definitely still need AoE Unkillable & Block Damage (Been playing 369 days)
Fave champ: my 6-star Awakened Serris. Geo is so useful in so many places, it's silly. Godseeker allows me to get somewhere in Sand Devil (with Dreng) AND Hydra. Demytha and Seeker are vital parts of my Swiss-Watch-Myth-Heir CB team. Tagoar got me thru DT Hard levels when I never expected it. Criordan is my only hope to get thru FW Level-20. Seer melts waves, so very useful for turn-limit tourneys. Honorable Mentions: Deacon, Toragi, Magnarr, Royal Guard.
Vogoth is another really great addition, situational but a beast when it comes to all the PVE content.

My top 8 epics i still use to this day and have different builds that can be useful in many areas. 1) godseeker aniri ( a beast support for literally eveywhere + synergises well with scyl of the drakes and brogni) 2) alika ( need a good dps ? She got you, need skill lock ? She got you) 3) geomancer (insane for almost every boss fight and even helped me in arena a couple times haha) 4) vogoth ( a beast of a tank with good heal + provoke) 5) seer ( i dont use her as much coz i miss kymar and insame buffers like siphi but i know her value) 6) fenax ( amazing dmg in clan boss and bloxking revives in are na, also good for scarab in destruction set, i use two of them in different builds). 7) criodan, insane cc champ that synergises amazingly with yakarl and tormin and he is an asset for sylvan fws and fk hard. 8) cardinal ( insane for any arena and decent for other areas too. Lastly, an honourable mention to tuhak the wanderer. The guy deals good dmg, has cc, puts skill in cd, decreases speed aoe and he can take a hit or two. Oh he also steals turn meter. Pretty underrated.

Id love to see damage mitigation teams with the aoe reductio gear. I truly thinm you could get almost full aoe protection depending on if it stacks lol
Well, my first epic was Deacon. I'm still using him all day long. AoE decrease defense, turn meter manipulation, leech....extra turn, speed aura.....fantastic.
I also picked Tagoar in my top 3 Epics for each faction video. I agree with you!
Got Dryad and Godseeker in back to back pull this weekend after I happened to see your pairs video working on getting them to 6starred now

For me two of the absolute GOAT's for early and mid-game are... Rector and Venomage! What a great pairing giving the ability to pretty much duo all the normal content with ease!
my top 8 epics are Ursala the Mourner, Alure, Rector Drath, Doompriest, Vogoth, Myciliac Priest Orn, Fahrakin the Fat, Oboro. the last one with Oboro is a maybe she's useful, maybe shes not. i got a lot of use out of her and i still use her in the arena, and i used her in early spider before i got into the stages where the HP Burn strat took over. i think a solid alternate to Oboro that id propose is probably siegehulk

Nice picks👍 I've long been saying Criodan is one of the best Epics in the game, and now it's official!😉 Another underrated aspect of Demytha's A2 is the sheer amount of healing it can do. Tagoar is the only one of these I'm not 100% convinced by, but good champ, certainly.

On my F2P I picked up Woad-Painted and Hotatsu as two of my first epics, and I'd honestly put both of them up there for early game epics to pull you through content. Both of them are great for keeping the team alive and put out some reasonable damage too.
I eventually got better options than Hotatsu, but I still use him in a few places. While Woad I still use for reflect damage in fire knight, to tank and keep the team going in lower levels of dreadhorn and scarab boss (with a bloodshield ring) and basically anywhere where I need big heals.
Woad was great for me too. Definitely underappreciated.

For me, hordin was a huge carry until nightmare campaign, and when I started to claim all the login rewards. I just used him as a chicken to rank up UDK. Later on, I used deliana to rank up scyl.

@ASH I made a rash comment to you and HH a couple of weeks back. I want to apologize to you. You have always done things to help the community out. With all the content builds, bosses, and new content I cant expect you to do it all. I know you wont like the next part, but you do keep things pretty level when it comes to acting as a go between for the community and plarium, unlike HH. Sometimes it seems like he has his head up their ass. I DO understand that both of your incomes depend on content and cannot tell plarium when things are outright not right for them or the community, but you DO seem to take a stance when things are outright wrong even when it can cause loss of income or CC for you. He seems to hem and haw at it. That is what brought on the comment from me and I was wrong for posting my feelings. You are one of the first CCs I watched. You have always been consistent with what you post and what you post usually always works. I also watch your NON Raid posts. I find myself caring about your well being, your mental health and your kid. I know from other CCs like DarthMicrotransactions that posts like mine can make or break you mentally if you read enough of them over time. So again I want to apologize and too make amends in whatever way I can. I really hope that you see this or that someone reading it will bring it to your attention. I REALLY WANT YOU TO SEE IT!!! Criodan is a beast! Just building him bc FK is the only dungeon I haven't finished yet and oh boi he is good 😂 I pulled 5 seekers so far that's how I booked my main and I built an unkilleable unm cb team. I would mention Taurus!!! To me he was a game changer at the beginning. lol I play this game for like 7 months so idk am I early game? Because I've finished a bunch of things that some ppl couldn't for over a year. So anyways Taurus was and still IS in my nm cb team doing almost 20M damage with paired up Teo. And with Helicath he is unkilleable for almost the whole 50 turns depending on the affinity. I could finally almost one key nm yesterday so now going to work on Taurus' gears and changing the blessing. He is a good boi❤ I haven't pulled a lego for like 4 months but with Taurus,udk (he was a free lego when I started for a code),Artak and Yasmin I could climb up to Brutal cb in no time. I also think Yasmin is underrated! I boosted her with accuracy and she is the reason I was smashing Arena at the beginning including Live Arena as she removed buffs, healed my other champs. She is a great support champ of someone doesn't have block buffs or a healer but pulling her at the very beginning. Oh uh and UROGRIM!!
Uugo is crying after this video... :) Really it is about 20-25 most wanted epics, who can drive to the endgame. Of course Seer, Geo and Aniri is holy skyrocketing trinity. Good video. Thanks.

Criodan is my champs for dt hard waves. When paired with Artak and Achak the Wendarin, they just melt waves with the synergy in passives. Recommend to try this fun team.

attest to tagoar. his kit super good. aoe revive, increase speed, heal, and a damage mitigation passive. offers a lot of what you need in the early game climb keeping your damage dealers alive

Just going off of the Epics I have: Cardinal / Dark Elhain / Klodd / Dhukk / Mistrider / Skeuramis / Scion / Stag Knight
I think Tailla is a Lego worthy champ,I got her from a promo on day 1 and she stayed on all my teams until dungeon 20 but she's a beast arena,CB, dungeon's very helpful champ that never gets any credit..

I love my tallia, I used her in fireknight and arena before I got better camps for the rolls.
Very under rated early on with an aoe weaken to boot...
She just starts to drop off in mid game mostly due to how squishy she is and stoneskin in arena.

I have a Seer fully leveled and booked. Have a second Seer sitting in the vault. Not sure if I should invest in the dupe. HM to your list include Doompriest, Tayrel, and Uugo. Dont have Ursula yet or Demytha (Sad Face)
Geo, Godseeker, Ursula, Uugo, Miscreated Monster, Skullcrusher, Melga Steelgirdle, Madame Serris. (no particular order)
Criodan opened up most hard dungeons aswell as doomtower for me also really strong in live arena
Biggest difference makers when i pulled them were Geo, Seeker (last 2 epics i pulled that made a difference) Demytha. Venomage, Vogoth, Maneater, Godseeker, and Magnarr.

Definitely agree with Godseeker, Been playing well over 4 years and have multiple copies of Cardinal, Baerdal, Demytha, Lightsworn and Madame, but can't pull a godseeker in a million years lol
Nia, Godseeker, Urogrim, Demytha, Amelia, Skimfos, Akemtum, and Peydma would be my choice. Of course, Fayne/Allure, Dark Elhain, Dirandil, and Vrask if I had to substitute. (Yes, I use all of these depending on the dungeon 😊)

8 epics... dymitha/seaker/magnar/shamael/dhukk/stagknight/godseaker/gorgrab
in time I will either be able to do a pure brute force spider, or ill pull a burner
in time I will get champs that enable more content.
but dhukk for decrease attack and defense on a defense based champ, will be buildable and not be a wasted dmg space
stagknight will be great for when you progress a bit more and can build him to really do work but dhukk is better out the gate
seaker will increase attack, and will be able to increase defense in arena, while also being useful for enabling clanboss teams.
godseeker and gorgorab for resurrection and safety net
magnar just so you have a solid damage dealer, same with shamel, just being a truckload of damage as well as also enabling champ comps a bit further down the line.
dymitha not only for block damage reasons but also just for healing and buff extension.
I know there are other champs who could be here, seer for example, but to really take advantage of her requires gear and characters you wont have for a long time.

I'd take: Orn, Diathi, Vogoth, Shamel (i have those 4), Aniri, Genbo, Geomancer and Seer (want those 4). Yes, i have no magic affinity and i picked mostly voids...yeah. If this was done by affinty, my list would be different...
Honorable mentions are Oathborn, Toragi, Morag, Skimfocs, Anabelle, Dark Elhain (own these), Demthya, Gala, Togaor, Dukked the pierce, Madame Serris (want these)

When a specific champ has an arena Aura does that apply to just classic arena or does it work in tag-team as well? Always wondered that.

It's Cry-Oh-Dan man! Like Cryo means icy cold and Crio is just a fancy way of changing the spelling to make a name like they did with Phoenix/Fenax where he has a skill having to do with reviving and the Phoenix rises alive from it's own ashes. It hurts my brain to hear Croydon. Now, l have used him in FW and his freezes seem to go off easily even with less accuracy than would be ideal. Carry on, love your vids.
I only have 1 of the 8 you mentioned (tagoar) and i only got him last week so for me it would be occult brawler, stag knight, lightsworn, jotunn, urogrim, skullcrusher, alure and flyja

Until I recently got Marichka, I was using Royal Guard, Ursala, Fat Man, Tagoar, and Gnut to 2 key UNM CB. Epics can do a lot in this game.
I’ve used Tagoar in my FW team at level 50. He’s not stat hungry and does good work.

glad criodan is getting some love he's so underrated. My question is does he synergize with either deacon, stag, or khatun? i have all 3 and I'm newer so I don't understand speed and turn meter very well
Well deacon is great because he boosts tm and debuffs the enemy team all by himself, where as khatun is a booster and stag knight debuffs. So croidan does go with either deacon or both of the others well
In this game your team should have a tm booster, a enemy debuffer, control (like croidan), damage dealer, and a healer/reviver. Also you want one of those to also give your team buffs, which is usually the tm booster but not always. Hope this helps.
Hey Ash in a recent video, you asked for an idea on something we suggest you cover. Well my wife and I are both stuck at silver 4 on tag. we need ideas for awesome defense teams.
I only have Geomancer, criodan and Ursala from this list. Geomancer is amazing, no doubt about it. I love criodan and Ursala’s kit, i just dont have the gear to make then effective yet, unfortunately

Diabolist is a good early game speed booster. Deacon is good debuffer and frozen banshee is good in a stun set .

Godseeker, geo, seer, ukko, inquisitor, royal guard, doompriest, and knights erent only because he was my first epic and he carried me so far, I know he's not the best but still one of my favorites. Seer is a champ I still don't have and definetly my most wanted I have opened like 6 maneaters 4 godseekers but no seers. I made the list before I saw yours let's see how they colide!!

My list would be:
Geo - obvious, still in my CB and Iron Twins
Godseeker - obvious, still in a hydra team and sand devil
Uggo - your biggest snub if I'm not missing it. Probably the most all arround champ for hydra.
Seer - queen of speed run
Dark Kael - he's just great for most dungeon bosses
Akemtum - great damage without building for damage, key for easy spider hard 10 team
Demytha - probably the best unkillable epic RN and CB is still the best place for resources
I'll make Ash happy and add Tagoar, if you have a new account he checks a lot of roles, just brings to much for the table
Champ I disagree the most is Criodan, he's just usefull for FK Hard, most people will take like a year plus before getting there
I would say Akemtum for number 8 he does major work for me in hydra and spider. I agree everyone else deserves to be on that list.

Early game, i would take Vogoth, Aniri or Geomancer. Those help alot campaing, dungeons etc. Seeker is nice, but needs gear and support heroes.

I pulled doompriest early and she carried my account for so long because I had not even a rare cleancer . I had her later in my first UNM Demonlord team. (Unkillable) and she can smack with her a1 one

To add how funny it is that Epics like Aniri and Geo are like the meta for some content, and Dem... Lego champs in epic skins that EVERYONE needs.

I used Demytha as food when i first started the game. I didnt have a lot of buffs that i wanted to extend and as i new player i didnt really understand her kit. i feel so stupid now :((
Since you've recently got Graazur Irongut, if you have Corvis do you think you could make a fun CB video of Graazur, Pythion, Corvis, Duchess, and Vogoth, or change a champion here or there to make a funny damage reduction team to see what it does for damage mitigation?
I've always wondered how much you can reduce incoming damage in this game by.

@@ASH-RAID Another thing I just thought of, I think it would just cancel itself out but doing something wacky like also running all Guardian sets etc to see what the interaction is like for everybody.
I dunno about Epics...all the ones you mentioned are amazing! If I could start with 1 champion Ash...it'd be Harrier!!!

Make her your tanky nuker, which requires no accuracy what-so-ever and she'll be going! she replaced my starter as soon as I luckily pulled her, first epic in this account, right now being a beast.
