    The beginning part is very true and I often forget that. Last month I was extremely productive. I was doing some form of workout every day whether being cardio or yoga, went for a walk every day, I read a lot, I ate really healthy, drank lots of water, got my bedroom decorated, been on top of all my chores and revamped my notion so it would work better for me.
    Now for the past few weeks I've been doing nothing. Most days I haven't even been getting dressed and just feel in a slump. Have a pile of dishes to do, binge watch Netflix to put off doing what needs doing, not been working out, been ordering too much food because I can't be bothered to cook and now I just feel crappy because I've took a compete 180 on what I was like before. I don't know how to get back into that rhythm without feeling burned out and just wanting to sit on the couch all day comfort eating😂
    I just watch all these TH-camrs that seem like they have their life together and it seems like I subconscioisly try to emulate that but it backfires on me lol

      Hello! Thank you for sharing your experiences, I totally have been there as well. It's like you get motivated, and so your 'productivity pendulum' swings hard and you get REALLY productive. You stay on top of things and it's great. But then it gets hard to keep up and you get unmotivated for some reason, so, you swing back to doing barely much. And then you feel guilty for not having your life together so you force yourself to get productive again!
      And I think you're right about subconsciously trying to emulate what's on social media. It's awesome you notice that. TH-cam videos are all edited, filtered, and usually show our better self.

      I’m so sorry you were feeling that way, I really hope you are doing better now. I completely get what you were saying, I have very very similar experiences, of being super productive, on top of everything and then suddenly I just getting so low, unmotivated, lethargic ,everything exactly as you describe.
      But I always get back to it! It always passes. I wonder if maybe, when we are doing well and eating well, exercising and keeping up with our chores,we don’t take enough time to just recharge?
      Sometimes, it’s just as important as all the active and proactive things we are doing, to just sit and be calm and quiet and still.
      It could be that taking an afternoon and/or evening binge watching Netflix, is just what we need and just as important as all the other healthier habits we are doing all the time.
      I have found taking an hour in the morning , just having a coffee, meditating and cuddling with my dog has been very helpful in keeping me put together and on top of everything. Most of the time anyway!
      When I do have a really bad day and feel so down that I can’t even be bothered to clean my teeth, I give myself grace, it’s just a bad day, we all get them, it’s ok if some days all we do is breathe . Everyday is a new beginning, take a breath, smile and start again!
      Oh dear, I’ve really rambled on , I apologise. All I really wanted to say was, I do hope you’re doing better, and you’re not the only one who gets like this from time to time.

    Anxiety and depression are the reasons why I start being so unproductive some days. I really liked the tips and I'll try some of them. But I usually set up the next day the night before and then I wake up feeling like shit and can't get anything done. Then I get even more anxious and sad then when I woke up. It sucks. Hope this wave of darkness that came to me goes away soon. Thanks for the video

      I totally feel you on this. I think try to set low expectations. We're human, we can't always meet our ideals. When you wake up in the morning, try to ask yourself: "What can I do today to make today less worse than how I currently feel?" Maybe the answer is to make your bed, to put on a new outfit, to answer your emails, to eat a good breakfast etc.. all those little efforts will add up and hopefully they'll provide you some good momentum! wishing you all the best ❤️

    I think you're my new favourite youtuber. I just watched three of you vids in less than an hour and I loved them all, this one specially. Your voice and note are incredibly relaxing AND motivating at the same time, and your words make me really believe everything will be okay.     This is a fabulous video, exactly what I need at the moment.
    I only recently came across your channel whilst looking for bullet journal ideas, i am so glad I did!
    Not only did I find nice undaunting , easy to follow, minimalist journal spreads, but also a whole load of really helpful and interesting videos!

    tip number 1 got me hard HAHA, I put on my to do lost today that I'll be checking 2 sets of outputs of my students but my whole day was occupied on other paper works required weekly and finalizing the grades plus house errands and also I desperately need a rest (Its a weekend for pete's sake HAHA). out of my long to do list, that's the only one that I'm contemplating to do now (others are done by the way) I really wanted to do it but my mood in doing so was gone, just tired with all the hustle of today.. and seeing the tip number one told me that I don't need to push myself. so i'll just rescheduled it and move on with my life haha

    im brain dumping i suggest you use a piece of paper that isnt youe journal and then write on that paper and then tear it and throw it away cause i tried it and it helps alot :)
