A couple days ago at work a spider was crawling on my till, so I hit it and it "died", all curled up no movement. I go to move it to throw away and the ****er came back alive, scared the crap out of me
This is a perfectly reasonable response, because as far as Colin has been concerned, this all has been pretty grounded, even with the secret society, the underground world, and Raphaniel's decent into madness. But then out of nowhere, a real-ass cosmic horror shows up out of nowhere to the surprise of everybody, kills 2 of his teammates and 3 of its "teammates", and then turns it's sight on him. Screaming is the most normal response to this bullshit.

The delirium following that much drama and stress is only making the laughter stronger, Zac knew he had to wring it all out now before they could get worse
To be fair, if I saw consecutive people, including two of my squadmates, get sucked into maws of grinding blades and turned into bloody mulch right before my eyes all within the span of a few minutes, I too would be screaming my head off
For a moment I thought the subtitle "cast screaming" meant like a spell. Like Brennan cast the spell "screaming" on everyone in a 20' radius. I'd say I've been playing too much dnd, but I don't think that's possible.

That happened to me before, I broke through the wall punching the spider when it moved.
In this situation, screaming is the appropriate reaction for a normal person! I loved how Colin felt like just a regular dude.
He was the perfect foil to the wakiness and regalia of the rest of the cast.
