Ok folks. I am a mom in law. Of two girls. My first Dil loves to cook. My son also knows cooking. When newly married she would cook all by herself. I would tell her - look - he may get too used to this. Don’t let him 😂
My second son just took over the kitchen and would not let his wife cook because she anyway was not too fond of cooking. We were not at all upset about it. Eventually she did change but of her own will and both work together. I am proud that my husband and I are very happy with both daughters in law as they are
I feel so lucky to have such wonderful and understanding MIL. She supported me in the same way since me and my husband had jobs in different cities before our wedding.. blessed to have her in my life ❤

People in the comments saying that this does not happen in real life. Well, be the change you want to see. Whenever you become a MIL/FIL set an example or may be set up an example today by supporting your son's choices and daughter's choices. Or at least support yourself!!

Saying is easy but caring for your son's life is more important that time when situation arise, career oriented modern women won't be going to do any household work, and also they will not a kid after marriage as soon as possible. And when they decide to have a kid, their age and lifestyle won't allow them to become mother.
@@SuperGetoverhere May be you need to understand more about things/situations/surroundings. When time comes mostly the career oriented women leave their job and take care of the family by becoming house wives. It is not expected from the son though. And again doing household work is a survival skill these days, it is not gender specific.
Wish there was more understanding people in this world like this MOTHER.

Those who are telling impossible this is true in my case.my bf who is now my husband left dubai first got job in Bangalore while I was in pune and after 2 months of marriage got shifted to pune. We cook together.due to pandemic we are at home.In weekends me and my husband cook.my mil also tells both should learn cooking cos it's survival skill.

As per me agr sb Delhi ya Bangalore rhle isme problem kya h...bhale hi Delhi rhkr km kamale...it's ok bcoz in the end only family matters,nt money n puri family sth rhegi...it's totally a sacrifice of mother even after certain age aap logo ko sth rhna hi hoga bcoz ur mother will needs u...even I also want to stay with my mother in law usse aapke bchoo ko bi upbringing achi milegi..even I am CA still m ready to settle in small town where will be less job opportunities but cost of living will also be less...most importantly sb sth hoge khush hoge bhale hi km earn krle....earlier I also want to settle in metro cities only bt now I took different decision....suggestions are open may be i m wrong

Problem is men earn more in most marriage by a scale of atleast 2x and women wants to have job but will earn at least half.
How many couple have u seen women earning more than men. Bcz they dont marry those guy in 99% cases.
Parents dnt understand and nor man do still.. So this is impossible to happen in real life
