Dear Evan Hansen is just one of those musicals where I've heard and genuinely enjoy some of the songs (mainly Only Us and Waving Through A Window) but I've never really seen.
In other news, I've been OBSESSED with the (Unofficial) Bridgerton Musical and I went to watch the show because of it and it's now one of my favourite shows (what can I say, I love me some good period pieces)

I don't mean to take away from this masterpiece, but has anyone else seen the official Only Us but it's Gay?? It has two of the different Evans from different productions of Dear Evan Hansen singing together and it's super cute! If you look up Only Us Dear Evan Hansen it's the one with a guitar as the thumbnail. Anyway, I'm super happy to see this cover cuz now we have an mlm version and a wlw version!!! I love this cover, great job!!!

The original plot of Dear Evan Hansen is so unnecessarily contrived, and leaves me feeling icky. But the songs are so beautiful. I'd love a rewrite with a simple queer storyline about isolation and founding a school GSA or something.
