Yes, I love the commentary. It makes me feel like I am walking with someone and not alone. Since I've been posting the links to your videos as I do them on FB, one of my friends wrote me and said she showed one of your videos to her daughter and now they are going to buy a treadmill!!!
Livingston is wonderful. It may be a sleepy little town, but it has charm. So many towns like this fall into disrepair and ruin, but it feels like the residents really care. No litter, no graffiti. I loved this walk. Thank you!
You can't believe how much I enjoyed walking with you! I lived here 1942 thru 1948; resided at 411 S. H street; 4 yrs. to 10 yrs. old. I have subscribed to your videos. Thank you so much! ......Bob Hall
I love hearing stories like this. Thanks for taking the time to comment and for subscribing. Great story. Thanks. My kids were born in and grew up on 813 W. Callender near Mark's In and Out that, now that I think about it, wasn't even open yet! Take care. -Henry
That is absolutely true. They all have a lot of character, but that also means a lot of them eat a lot of work. We have one now and are happy to have it. - H
I loved this video (my follow-up to your Jackson, WY video). I watched the whole video and then shared the highlights with my wife and daughter. What a charming little town. We are hoping to visit Y.N.P. in the near future and thought we might fly into Billings and enter the park at Gardiner so we’d pass right through Livingston on the way. We will definitely stop and try out some of your recommendations, Henry. I enjoy your commentary and hope you will continue to share the history and points of interest that you found interesting. I also serendipitously found out recently that Livingston was the home of one of my favorite actresses, Margot Kidder (R.I.P.). I’ve subscribed and am looking forward to watching your Corning, NY video as we live in Western, NY and have been there many times. I also enjoyed the Watkins Glenn video. It brought back memories of our trip there when our daughter was younger. There sure were a LOT of steps! (LOL). Many thanks for sharing. Warmest regards.
Hi Ken, Thanks so much for your great comment. Glad you are enjoying the channel. Hope all is well as can be expected where you are. Also hope your travel plans work out. Assuming they do, here's a good facebook page that my wife runs for things to do in and around Yellowstone and Glacier. facebook.com/groups/YellowstoneTrips
@@CityWalks We are doing well and hope the same for your family. Unfortunately, we have a 10 day trip to England booked for this July which will probably not happen now. I hope the travel insurance I purchased will cover it. We were hoping to come out your way possibly next year but all bets are off now. I’m sure this is an especially big deal for you and Mel as you are travel vloggers. I hope you will find other ways to manage the current travel restrictions. Thank you so much for the link to Mel’s Facebook page. I really appreciate it and wish you the very best.
@@kenyotta67 Thanks so much for your good wishes Ken. Hopefully, most carriers and tour operators seem to be refunding people's money, even without insurance. Hope that works for you, but even more, it would be wonderful if we could get this thing licked and get people traveling again. M and I are doing ok. We have some passive income based on TH-cam ads and affiliate sales and a bit of a cushion for now. Thanks though. All the best to you guys. -H
I like this. I think you have a nice mix of talking and not talking. I like seeing the towns, hearing and seeing what is there. I also like hearing what it’s like being or living there. Things I’d like to know are what the people are like. Are they friendly, clean, to themselves, addicted to drugs/alcohol, and what the breakdown of classes are. Like the town is mostly middle class with some lower and higher, (etc) and this is what those people are like. People keep up their homes/property, or don’t care. What the litter situation is like- or how it’s so clean and why it’s like that. What crime is like. Do you feel safe, what problems or no problems there are. Maybe that’s a lot of information. In my case I’m considering moving back to Montana- and the more information- the more it helps in making my decision. Maybe if I wasn’t looking, I wouldn’t want as much information.
Recumbent trikes are now the rage especially among seniors. Check out the HP Velotechnik Scorpion Plus. There are many different manufacturers as well. I ride a recumbent trike and Livingston looks like a great place to ride one.
I have really enjoyed watching your video walks! I was born in Anaconda, Montana (would love to see one from there), so I especially enjoy the Montana walks. I didn’t mind the commentary I thought it was informative; plus if you don’t like it you can always mute it and play some music. Keep up the great videos!
Hi Lynn, so glad you commented. Yes, Anaconda would be a good one. I'll try to fit one in next time we head west. Thanks for the feedback as well. Happy walking - Henry
The camera seemed to stay pointed straight forward through the whole walk this time. No more of that drift that some previous videos had. And I even noticed what seemed like manual corrections when you'd turn a corner that kept it pointed the right way for my VR headset. So thanks for doing that! I enjoyed the occasional commentary. I prefer not to have constant jabber with nothing interesting to say, but I thought you had a good amount of commentary that added to the walk. However, sometimes you'd turn the whole camera to point at something as you talked about it, and that really made me dizzy as I walked with my headset on. With a 360° video, you can tell me to look left, and I'll turn my head left myself! :D Perhaps it was just my own device's settings, but it seemed like the camera only recorded the 180° view to the front rather than the whole 360° view. Was that the case? Keep up the good work. Thanks for doing this.
Thanks for the feedback. I switched back to the regular goPro for this and for the Bozeman video. I've got Deadwood SD and Corning NY in the queue and those will be in VR. I'm trying something new for that so hopefully it will fit your needs better on that. Again, thanks for the feedback. -Henry
I don't like this camera, it's hard for me to watch such quality so I close very quickly. And the second camera with 360 degrees... hell no. But the shootings and the walks themselves are interesting and good
Nice job nice comment, please carry a hankerchief and dab your nose, the sniffing was annoying other than that wished our city was traffic free as Livingstone.
Yes, I love the commentary. It makes me feel like I am walking with someone and not alone.

Truly enjoy these walking tours of our beautiful state. Appreciate the narration to help me get a better understanding of what we’re looking at.
Our pleasure! Thanks so much for the comment and glad you like the chatting. -H
Just discovered this! So nice to watch and learn about a city that my husband and I want to move closer to. Thanks!
Thanks for watching and I hope you get to move. It's an amazing part of the country. Thanks for watching and for the comment. -Henry
Each of those old homes has a history to tell!
That is absolutely true. They all have a lot of character, but that also means a lot of them eat a lot of work. We have one now and are happy to have it. - H
I enjoyed your walking tour of Linvingston, with commentary - a nice way to spend 45 minutes on the treadmill.
Thanks so much. I’m glad you enjoyed it and thanks so much for leaving a comment. Looking forward to posting more walks soon. -Henry
Nice video of Livingston. Never been there but I feel like I have. Thanks for the posting.
Thanks for watching -H
I think you have a perfect amount of narration. Thanks for the videos
Wow, thank you! -H

I ride a recumbent trike and Livingston looks like a great place to ride one.
In foul weather, you can keep them inside and put the rear tire on a set of rollers and ride in a stationary mode.
Awesome. I’ve seen a lot of recumbent bikes around. Thanks for the info. - H
Love the comments usually write down and visit those places you are my tour guide 😃 , visiting on 11/06/2021
Thanks so much. Hope you enjoy your visit. Try Tru North or East side Coffee for breakfast if you get a chance. -H
33rd video walk 👟👟👍😂 Thank you.

At 5:46, what is the structure to your right that is made with railroad ties?
it's just a retaining wall. -H

I can't believe I'm the first one to leave a comment. Not a good sign.
Todd Boothbee does that mean you don’t like something? Anything I can do better?

Holech Batel thanks for the feedback.
You welcome, any time
