As I'm left handed, the brush holder and the water-holder clip on the easel are in the wrong place. Luckily, the brush holder is retractable, so it doesn't get in my way, and the central well on the palette gives me the water I need. So, no worries. Overall, the En Plein Air Pro is an excellent product. I'll be taking my first plane trip with it in a month -- the Pro is just what I needed. Thanks, Eric! I certainly wish it to be possible to buy in Sweden, but it’s not! Sadly! We, my hubby and me, runs a small store for art material and if we could, we would import and sell them!!!
How would a 20"x18" mounting board attach to the smaller plate you show as a mounting bracket? I use roadside corrugated plastic signs to mount my half sheet w/c paper on.
+BeautyMarked Orchids: Eric plays classical guitar (or at least folk-style fingerpicking guitar); classical guitarists have nails on the picking-hand thumb, index, middle and ring finger, and callouses on the fret-hand. Notice that Eric is right-handed (pick-hand) and that only the right hand has long fingernails; hopefully (if Eric has been practicing enough), he has callouses on his left hand!

I’m concerned that the pallet doesn’t grip the tripod well enough. One little bump and it tips to one side.
I fixed the problem by adding Velcro to the legs of the tripod and a small piece on the pallet where it connects with the leg. Now it won’t slip.

It seems this is pretty much for painting while standing, or can the easel be lowered enuf to paint while sitting?
