Alright. Seeing as TS part 5 is coming out tomorrow, let's go over what we know. First of all, based off of Twilight's "Wing it", I have a hunch that wings will have something to do with how Sonata pulled it off (think Sonic Rainboom episode). Phoenix: "Wow, that's a change. The judge treatening someone who isn't me" Yeah, that's truly quite rare. The judge generally seems biased in favor of the prosecution (though not utterly biased -- the defense attorney still has a chance).
Just 18 days left! Let me just say that it's thanks to this awesome piece of fan work that got me into the Phoenix Wright games in the first place! I just finished the first game and now I'm starting "Justice for All". I hope the "Cornered" theme from "Ace Attorney" makes an appearance in the final part.
One of my favorite things about this series is how I could easily see the withess cross examinations actually being in an Ace Attorney game. Like here you could only press for information three times, then you have to find the contradiction. Or in Applebloom's previously, you'd get penalties if you pressed her too much.
I had heard about this before as a person whose a fan of Ace Attorney, but since I'm not big on ponies, I ignored it. I decided to finally watch it today though, and I'm really impressed. So I'm kinda glad that I waited to watch...I don't have to wait to long for the conclusion!
Gilda, a horrible friend who tries to frame Rainbow dash from murder Rainbow dash: "please judge, go easy on her. I'll visit you in prison Gilda I promise" Fluttershy, a good friend who didn't lie under oath Rainbow dash: "I hate you, I never wanna see your face again!!!"
When I mean suppressor I mean it absorbed the sound of the bolt. If I recall, Rainbow Dash said a bolt will make a sound depending on what it hits and that sound goes pretty high when it hits the ground/something attached to the ground like a tree. Since the Gold Club isn't a stationary object it could've reduced the sound of the 2nd bolt to a point where it could be barely heard.
Oh god Gilda, I can't, I can't watch this without crying... Maybe it's because I lost my best friend in 10th grade, I knew him very well for 4 years, shortly after we had a great fight a few month before, and all I got was a call that he died of a sickness, at the age of 19 no less... I never got the opportunity to apologize... ... I need a minute excuse me *runs away from keyboard*
That happened to me in the second grade, and so was she. She died because of cancer, and she was my best friend. Her parents gave stuffed lemurs, her favorite animal, to the entire school. Her name was Chloe, and she was the cause of the Chloe Foundation. I still can't trust many people. But in third grade, I trusted only grown-ups and my best friend, Jade. She moved away to Sadia Arabia after that year. But after the first semester, she moved back for about a year and a half. Then, she moved to Florida. And I haven't seen her since.
ACHOO oh sorry I'm sneezing on ur bullshit! Afther somone explains there family, friend, cousin whatever the hell they don't role play saying - I need a minute (runs away from keyboard) - dumbass
Damn man...I'm sorry to hear that from you :\ I've lost loved ones and friends too throughout my life, but that's just extremely rough to lost someone THAT close to you that you didn't even get to apologize about that
...AAAAAHHHHH!!!!! Nowacking!!!!! Sweet Apple Acres. They got Nowacking to play Gilda. Oh my gosh oh my gosh oh my gosh! She is only the greatest voice actor ever. She does the parody voices of Misty from Pokemon, Revy from Black Lagoon and Vinyl Scratch from MLP along with many others. And now she is playing Gilda too? Freaking Awesome!
Here's what I think: I think that Sonata planted the head of the club on Ace. When Ace flew away from the first lightning bolt, the second bolt struck him in the air (hence no sound). Or else, the spell book has something to do with this (perhaps it has an electrocution spell, or some way to muffle the sound of the second bolt.) She then ran into Apple Bloom and teleported her out of the forest (hence why Fluttershy didn't see her), then walked out herself, barely noticed by Fluttershy.
This episode made me cry because I used to have a special friend... We grew up toguether and I remember sadly when we were children, we were the best friends and everything was easier... But now we had to separate and he is a man, he has other friends and he is happy with them, he superated my friendship... and I still miss him and cry because I feel I'll never have something so special than what we had :C
Here's an idea: Rainbow Dash was going to be banished to the sun if she was found guilty, right? But the show has previously established that something's going to go wrong if the Elements of Harmony are used against one of their own bearers. Isn't that right, Princess Luna? So, if Rainbow Dash was hit with the Elements of Harmony, she wouldn't go to the sun... Would she end up in Phoenix's universe?
Sonata probably didn't need any spell at all. Somehow Sonata/Cruise Control got the golf club on Ace w/out him knowing. Since the club is made of some sort of metal it probably would've (not sure if this applies in Equest) attracted lightning, specifically the second bolt. It couldn't have been the 1st bolt since the first bolt always strikes directly below it (not sure if it is regardless of the environment). And if i recall the lightning bolts make sounds based on what it hits...
Turnaout Storm: Fluttershy stands up to the stand for a friend and tells new information when guilty verdict is made. PW: AA (PW 1): Larry Butz stands up to the stand for a friend and tells new information when guilty verdict is made. Anyone else noticed that?
59:07 Me: But Trixie, there is one possible way for it to be a murder weapon. You see, by my ability to infer and knowledge of these games, the object must have been.... A LIGHTNING ROD!!!! Trixie: What?! But the stick is completely unidentifiable! We can't tell what it was! Me: Oh but Trixie, an object could only be this fried if it was hit by the lightning head on! And as you said, lightning will not make a sound in three situations. If its a dud as you say, if it was never fired, or if it struck something while in the air! Gilda could have easily have throw this stick in the air to guide the random lightning after Rainbow Dash fled!

Edgeworth: Using Logic Chess to make you sing like a canary
Blackquill: psychological manipulation and sword-strikes with his bare hands
Lol nice reference! Don't forget godot, he throws boiling coffees at you
Remember also that Edgeworth once said to a witness that he essentially didn't care if they killed themself.
I think the interrogator was Rip Lacer though, right?
Same voice actress who does Vinyl's voice in various fanmade projects (Nowhacking) and yeah, their voices do sound alike
Phoenix: "Wow, that's a change. The judge treatening someone who isn't me"
Yeah, that's truly quite rare.
Fitting use of approaching the truth with Gilda and the perfume. Glad I watched this
One of my favorite things about this series is how I could easily see the withess cross examinations actually being in an Ace Attorney game.
Like here you could only press for information three times, then you have to find the contradiction.
Or in Applebloom's previously, you'd get penalties if you pressed her too much.
I was so freaking mad when it said "To be concluded." THIS IS SO AWESOME! ICAN'T WAIT FOR 5/4 TO COME OUT!
Good things come to those who wait -
I can already imagine how great Part 5/4 going to be.
Just a quick doubt. Is part 5/4 a reference to some element in MLP fandom
"Rainbow dash killed that pony with a storm cloud. I was there..."
It's funny everytime.
Your profile pic helps.
☝ *"OBJECTION!"* ☝
- *Phoenix Wright*
*(slams desk)* That last statement *BLATANTLY contradicts the facts!*
I had heard about this before as a person whose a fan of Ace Attorney, but since I'm not big on ponies, I ignored it. I decided to finally watch it today though, and I'm really impressed. So I'm kinda glad that I waited to watch...I don't have to wait to long for the conclusion!
15:35 There is no expression more perfect for that answer...
"Although it's illegal and grossly unconstitutional to reopen a trial like this, I just can't say no to kids."
Relax, man. it was just a Simpsons reference because I was feeling random. Don't take things so seriously.
to be perfectly honest, if a half-eagle half-lion thing with an emo hairdo roared at ME i'd hide too. CHRIST lol
It's awsome that the final part gets released the day after Phoenix wright 5 comes out in America
Gilda, a horrible friend who tries to frame Rainbow dash from murder
Rainbow dash: "please judge, go easy on her. I'll visit you in prison Gilda I promise"
Fluttershy, a good friend who didn't lie under oath
Rainbow dash: "I hate you, I never wanna see your face again!!!"
Twilight : When I saw those locks I thou-
Trixie : HOLD IT!
Hyundai Sonata with Cruise Control... lol
Those damn sponsors doing what the toy and game companies do and making the whole thing a big commercial lol
Gilda rages like a kid on any cod or shooting game
over a year later, and I'm still investing hours of my time to watch this ^^; so awesome.
50:19 WHO PUT THESE...*sniff*...ONIONS HERE?! *sobs*
LOL
+EASscenarios
Damn onion-cutting ninjas.
I did
I really enjoy this series but is celestia just gonna banish the element of loyalty :/
No, that's why she hired Phoenix.
Yeah what would happen when the next big baddy attacked Equestria would be screwed
Haley Matheny Send in Phoenix Wright and his FINGER OF JUSTICE upon the baddies!
+jeramahia123 Now I'll I'm imaging is Phoniex cowering under Tirek
Haley Matheny Obviously you should play Marvel vs. Capcon 3.
It was cancer.
ACHOO oh sorry I'm sneezing on ur bullshit! Afther somone explains there family, friend, cousin whatever the hell they don't role play saying - I need a minute (runs away from keyboard) - dumbass
+Nick Mark maybe thats how you deal with it, but i'm honest when I say that the story is true.
It really weights heavy on my soul even to this day.
Damn man...I'm sorry to hear that from you :\ I've lost loved ones and friends too throughout my life, but that's just extremely rough to lost someone THAT close to you that you didn't even get to apologize about that
Fluttershy - OBJECTION ... if you know I can
...AAAAAHHHHH!!!!!
36:56 No, you're not a slowpoke, you're a pidgey.
You really improved on the VA and the animations of the characters. The music choices were better suited too
Wait is it just me or does Gilda sound like Vinyl?
Phoenix sounds like that reader for My Little Dashie.
Gilda... You hit me right in the feels. ;-;
The funny thing is, when Rainbow and Fluttershy were arguing, NO ONE bothered to intervene between them until AFTER the argument.
ponyville: where you frame your friends for murder when they dump you
=)
I don't know how about you guys, but now I like Gilda even more than before... I dunno why, she's just so entertaining with her performance. :)
Yup... "performance" is the right word to put it!!
man this is really well written, it's almost like Shu Takumi himself did it
Sonata probably didn't need any spell at all.
Anyone else noticed that?
this is the best thing. period.

Me: But Trixie, there is one possible way for it to be a murder weapon.
Gilda could have easily have throw this stick in the air to guide the random lightning after Rainbow Dash fled!
thats true :o

Gilda flipping the bird
Im not a bronie or waterver these guys are called, but i have to say your work is aweasome, you know,i can't wait until the last part,I NEED TO KNOW WHAT HAPPENS NEXT. DON'T GIVE UP!
5:22 Harsh
8:07 I forgot to call the line before he said it. Cold
10:25 Not so. Better than immediate verdicts
11:00 Happens to me as well. I sign letters in the air.
12:42 The opposite of Luke Atmey's testimony. Resembles a testimony from a game from many years in the future (last testimony of SoJ DLC case)
14:03 Classic von Karma-brand Judge Manipulation Stratagem™️
15:50 MFFFFMFMFFHFH. And I assume Rainbow knows this one, and Phoenix is working with limited info due to misguided orders?
18:01 The plot thickens...
19:34 This is genius! She got hit like Furio Tigre
19:54 Really solid animation
22:51 The dialogue is unambiguous and snappy. And Trixie is still talking in first pony.
23:43 New sprite. Also, that argument is shaky
24:36 That argument is valid, but not true
26:29 Right! We were told Gilda smelled horrible just a bit ago!
28:58 1) Finally some sane legalese in PW fanfic. 2) He should have asked for a Penalty instead.
29:39 We have some 1-2 and 4-5 Judge! Nice!
30:51 "Not my fault, your Honor! Teh perfume made my pen slippery!" Also, Judge braver here than against Furio Tigre. Lovely.
32:15 This Gilda is so FvK+FT+OA
33:39 Classic Udgey. Love him!
36:24 Everyone feels so alive!
37:08 PFFFFFFFFFFFFFFGHHHJJJJJ! That was as brutal as the Doom Comic
41:01 I still want Franziska as Proscecutor for AA7
41:56 That's in the river. PROFIT
46:08 Obliterated. I LOVE IT! She's testifying like Frank Sahwit
50:17 Pretty sad, ngl
50:54 This ain't gonna fly until the true culprit is revealed.
51:30 That's like 25 years, right? Probably will get in one due to good behavior
53:35 Couldn't have been the second due to lack of burn marks, and it's off the trajectory of the cloud.
56:17 Hoo boy this is so interesting
1:00:40 Low Blow
1:01:18 NO!
1:02:57 That argument worked last time! Onwards!
1:04:01 Reasonable of him.
1:04:20 This is the only acknowledgement of the 3 day rule between the first game's 4th case and the fifth game's third case.
1:05:06 She recognizes size and gender. That works to our advantage
1:08:12 KEY INFORMATION DETECTED! I hope it's not that Eye pony
1:08:52 It's so that Eye pony right?
1:09:52 I forgot we talked with her
1:13:00 Old habits die hard. You just HAD to go and pull a Turnabout Sisters on her
Phœnix: "You will be surprised how crafty murderers can be when they are placed in certains situations, Trixie"
Me: *Thinks about how Danganronpa murder cases are* I completely agree
Danganronpa. Oh boy. Those trials can get crazy.
I don't get why they use "anypony" opposed to "anybody." It's not like we say "anyhuman"
Why do humans say "anybody," as opposed to "anyhuman", when we usually only refer to human beings with that word?
It's just one of those quirks of history.
Because it's cute! :D
It’s just part of the show so they implement it here in the fan work too
I feel the bit with Fluttershy really borrowed from the trial against Manfred Von Karma.

Trixie. Is. UNBEARABLE in this >:( Seriously, she makes Miles at his worst look like a Class-A citizen. But I still love it though!
She's just a tsundere is all
@@FleshCavern No, she's a massive bitch. Trixie is bent on getting any of Twilight's friends BANISHED TO THE SUN. Tsunderes have redeeming qualities and dont try to do shit like this.
What a cliffhanger! Five parts out of four! May I ask...how long do y'all think it would take to create that fifth work of art? :)
my guess is (especially since Phoenix didn't show it to Twilight) that the spell tome that linked Sonata to the crime scene was marked with a simple lighting spell modified to suit her murderous purposes.
52:17 Gilda You are oddly Hilarious to listen to. I could put that on repeat over and over and the fact you flipped him off twice... God damn you over grown Angry bird.. good show
LOL Gilda's a slowpoke
So let me get this straight, Trixie did this only one time for revenge and was a total genius? Much more she actually won even with her large ego hold her back from quick victory and without Phoenix’s luck? Only Manfred and Nayuhta did that. Trixie must be special. We need her back a second time.
Just my thoughts, considering equestrian law allows diplomatic immunity to people out of the country,in this case the universe that contain equestria, wouldn't Phoenix have diplomatic immunity, thus Sonata (i forgot how her name was correctly spelt) plan to have Phoenix arrested if he showed the evidence that she was helping ace black male ponies null. Making Phoenix allowed to present the evidence anyways.
Gilda is freaking awesome with that middle finger move XD
Btw, PLEASE LET THEM WIN!!!
0:04:15-0:05:05 OMG RAINBOW THATS THE MEANIST THING YOU'VE EVER DONE TO FLUTTERSHY YOUR LIKE GILDA GO BACK TO HER AND NOT COME BACK!.......noe I am like being gilda :'(
Keep me on the edge of my seat!
Hang on, couldn't Pheonix counter argue the point about the bolt and say that, since according to Trixie the lethal bolt came straight down, that the bolt hammered Ace into the ground as opposed to knocking him into the final resting place. Makes just as much sense.
Man, I want an edgeworth version of this
Trixie is the type to use others to get back at Twilight.
*S T A R L I G H T G L I M M E R*
22:37 I'M DYING!!!!!! XD
37:01, 37:08, AND 38:42 ARE THE SAME!!!!! XD
What's so funny about that?
Oh, that nod is priceless.
