Happy Valentines Day!!
I am sorry this is late, I was sadly at a funeral yesterday and then my wifi crashed so unfortunately, it was not meant to be but it is here NOW!
I hope you all had a wonderful day filled with so much love and happiness whether you are celebrating Valentines, Galentine, Palentines, Dogintines etc etc! This year was rather different for us, we hosted a casual dinner party for our Italian friends. A delicious feast, exquisite wines, my spring table scape and a tour of my Fathers wine cellar along with his looooooong stories! 😂
This one is rather different from me but I truly hope you enjoy it. ❤️

Omg I loved this vlog. Firstly I love that you didn’t expect Marc to create Valentines Day and that you did the hunting and gathering with Wiggy. Love the wine cellar. I so hope there are some Australian wines in there . We do good stuff down here . Lastly I love Daddy’s stories . That’s so kind of you to never leave your dogs alone - I’m exactly the same with my dog!! I always make sure he’s never left alone! Dogs love the stimulation and company of humans :-)

This was one of my favorite vlogs so far, especially when you show your sweet father, it just melted my heart when he went from all gruff to gleefully explaining his cellar for everyone, reminded me of special evenings getting wine from my grandparent's cellar with my dad who passed away a year ago now. OMG... Daddy is adorbs...!! The Wet Saturday Cork Wall... I fell out of my chair laughing to see the Dachshund personality of a bedtime 'snoot shroud' of built-in cubby-beds...!! My German Shepherds would toss the blanket aside and lecture it for being too soft, but then come back to it later, apologize, and ask it it could arrange itself into a donut for better sleeping in a tight ball... 🤣🤣🤣💚

The italian food evening for Valentine's a great idea as no cooking and your presentation made the food look mouthwatering. I love a daffodil so spring like a tablescape. Your father's wine cellar was magical - goodness what a collection he has and such quality wines. The bottle from his wedding being there was very romantic and special. My cousin in New York has a wine cellar which is like a cave and I am not a drinker but I love wine cellars and a lot have histories attached to them. Men are not keen to appear in vlogs I notice but I think they warm up to the idea :-)

It’s so wonderful you put in the effort to socialize your pups! Brava! Loved running errands with you to pick up bits and pieces of your Valentine’s Day celebration.
I’m a big believer in multiple cards on special occasions. I usually include a funny card but always the sappy ones! I’m pretty sappy to begin with and I love to feel loved and think others loved to feel loved too, even if they are a bit uncomfortable! Some people have a difficult time expressing their emotions, so if you need a card to say what you feel, I say give a lot of sappy! We never know what tomorrow brings, so tell your loved ones how much they are adored everyday... card or no card!
Really enjoyed the wine cellar tour! Love all the stories and your Daddy is adorable! If you are able to twist his arm, I’d love more stories or wine tips. I’m the furthest from a wine aficionado but enjoy learning a wee bit here and there.
Your doggie bedtime routine is so endearing! Everyone tucked in properly for sweet dreams is precious. Curious if they all are still nestled under covers by morning? I tend to cover my pup with her blankets but she is rarely still tucked up by morning. Apparently a very active sleeper or just likes to go for strolls to different beds or drinks of water. Always busy... day and night. 😉😂🥰

Leonora please tell your father not to save all his favorite wines for special occasions, my father was a wine connoisseur and had so many fantastic wines but unfortunately when he became ill and had to take certain medications he could no longer enjoy the taste. When he passed away a couple of years ago and we were sorting through all the wines , many of them were corked as they were just too old….it’s so sad when this happens, so enjoy good wines now!….I’m sure your father knows and does this anyway 🥂x
