Excellent vidéo ! Many details I was waiting for ! So , the pocketbook seem to be my pick to replace my kobo h2o 1 I can easily drop my French epub on the pocketbook , 2 I can also navigate in my folders to easily find my books sort by folder at the root in my e-reader 3 and have night mode ( my kobo h2o don’t do that , only with the “powerful “ koreader, which I like very much ) 4 I can listen to my audiobook that I just download from my computer ( mp3 ) with an earphone : is there a jack connection ? Or with the loudspeaker As you said it is the best s-reader of 2022 , I am about to buy it Thanks for your work
Unfortunately, even if the Oasis is 3 or 4 years old, it still has a significantly better screen. I enjoy the charging option on my Signature edition, but I can't stand its screen. I hope Amazon releases a new Oasis or updates the Paperwhite screen to match what Oasis currently has or better.
Am I the only one wondering what Pocketbook was thinking with their pricing for a 7 inch device with 16 GB of storage for $200??? The Kindle Paperwhite Signature Edition is cheaper with double the storage and wireless charging. The Kobo Libra 2 is also cheaper with double the storage and Overdrive integration. Both Kobo and the Kindle Paperwhite use the Carta 1200 screen so there is literally no reason to get Pocketbook. Even the Kobo Sage is bigger with double the storage and only $30 more expensive currently.
On one forum, there is a discussion about the unwanted horizontal gradient on the Era's screen. I did not detect any gradient shading on the Era's screen in this review. Anyone else seen or concerned about the 'gradient issue' on the Era's display?
Thanks for the video . May i ask if the higher end of the kindles would be faster ( scrolling, page refreshing , faster response to touch , less web surfing crashes than the the standard kindle ?I've got the standard kindle . Thanks , please let me know . 😇🥳🥳
Little known fact - Pocketbook is Ukrainian company and in many ways it's typically Ukrainian design, some breathing space, robustness and durability are very important here. File manager, music, format omnivority, physical keys and better internet browser are all part of that. Devices that narrow user experience feel almost like an insult and an attempt to manipulate your life.
except they took this approach and threw it out the window with their latest updates who are design to give the e-reader a similar feeling of the app for mobile phones and tablets, completely destroying the elegant and simple touch which - in my opinion - was a stand out feature in all e-readers. while being a lot less elegant in use, amazon brought nothing innovative with this decision, while pocketbook let's you play chess on your device for example while keeping a very elegant and useful interface at the same time. so after a very short overview of my take on what you seem to praise about amazon's once simplicity approach, they lost this exact characteristic in all their devices. i had kindles for 10 years and now switched to pocketbook and couldn't be happier. thank's for reading :)
Forgot about the design , the pocketbook looks cooler
Want a comparison with Libra 2 :)
Thanks for this comparison. Wondering how Pocketbook Era could top this in their next iteration.
Im very very tempted to buy PB Era...
I think Kobo Libra 2 and Pocketbook Era would be a better comparison.
So, you think that paperwhite 11 it's less than this two?
Why? Wtf?
Pocketbook is the winner here and I love it
Any update on the Bigme color?

Which device is best for pdf reading?

I am I think. I have a feeling right side of the display is little darker. I must admit I think about it when I read...

Could you please say which mangas were on the Kindle screen except Naruto?
5:36 "the Kobo" !?
lol, caught that too
I read your comment while listening to the video and then about 2 seconds later Peter said "the Kobo" 😆
At around 5:30 you called the pocketbook a “Kobo”.
Yeah probably. We do thousands of videos here, sometimes we slip up
Does the tts on the pb have a variety of voices and languages
You can have different male and female voices. A lot of languages are supported.
I've read that Kindle font more sharpness than Pocketbook due screen protection layer. Is it true?
Yes
It can be multiple, it can be different - it cannot be multiple different.
hey there, thank you for the comment but i have no idea what you are talking about
thank you

Well it was founded in Ukraine but it's a Swiss company

Jesus christ, you people.
just use the computer you're watching this video on
Hey there, I have no idea what you're talking about and you're completely missing the point. Thank you
@@goodereader what is the point
The fact that on Kindle is nothing to do except reading the books, is the greatest advantage of Amazon Kindle.
except they took this approach and threw it out the window with their latest updates who are design to give the e-reader a similar feeling of the app for mobile phones and tablets, completely destroying the elegant and simple touch which - in my opinion - was a stand out feature in all e-readers. while being a lot less elegant in use, amazon brought nothing innovative with this decision, while pocketbook let's you play chess on your device for example while keeping a very elegant and useful interface at the same time. so after a very short overview of my take on what you seem to praise about amazon's once simplicity approach, they lost this exact characteristic in all their devices. i had kindles for 10 years and now switched to pocketbook and couldn't be happier. thank's for reading :)
