FYI : If you're interested in the Norwegian Pearl cruises, you should select "Europe" instead of "Eastern Mediterranean". This is a little mistake on the website that will be corrected shortly.
Which company has the best cruises ? Norwegian, Celebrity, Royal Caribbean, MSC, Virgin ... So many to choose from ! But this video should help you decide.

Could you make a video about excursions in each place? I have a cruise in June and I would like to see excursions in Santoriny Mykonos Kusadia Crete and Istanbul
Booked the Norwegian Pearl 2 weeks ago and just saw your video! So happy I made the right choice
I really dig your channel, learning a lot about Greece! We are fans of Virgin Voyages because they are adult-only, and we booked an 11 night Greece/Turkey Cruise in Mid-May 2025. Athens, Istanbul, Kusadasi, Mykonos, Rhodes, Santorini and Chania Crete. We are spending a few days in Athens before the cruise and your Athens videos have been very helpful.
Great video. Thanks. We are now planning the RC Odessey of the seas for September 2024 for Greek Islands. I understand the seas should be calm in September as there are 2 sea days. As prone to sea sickness, grateful for your comments. Thanks.
loved the video- I am actually booked on the Celebrity Infinity this coming September visiting Greece & Turkey.
Celebrity NJ to Bermuda. Excellent cruise. Bit expensive but worth it
We are going on Celebrity Cruise in May from Ravenna to Croatia Kotor and then back to Rome. We missed Greece on the cruise but flying to Santorini then to Athens after cruise is over, Just can't miss Greece! Love you videos, they have been so helpful
Did Athens 2 extra days grand Hyatt $120 day. Real posh. Food around corner Athens bbq $7 huge meal
I found the best of all world's itinerary on Norwegian Viva...10 day cruise that starts in Athens, and goes to Kusadasi (Ephesus) and Istanbul, Mykonos and Santorini, Nice France, and several places in Italy (Florence, Naples, Sicily) before ending in Rome. They only sail that itinerary a few times a year, but we are so excited for our August 31, 2024 cruise. We are spending a couple extra days in Athens to start and Rome at the end. It is our first Mediterranean cruise, so getting to hit the highlights of Greece, Turkey and Italy is like a dream come true.
Booked for Greece, Croatia and Turkey on a 6 night cruise leaving October 5th. I am hoping that the weather is clear. 🙏🏼
booked holland america oosterdam from Athens,Dubrovnik,Kotor,Corfu,Naples and Rome
Did Rome , Greece, and turkey. Ncl Epic November 8 2023. Love Greece.
In November 2023, was the seas calm or stormy? We prefer cooler weather but concern of motion sickness due to rough seas. Thanks.
Sea seemed calm. But land never far out of site. Whether 1 day out of 16 cool rain Florence
Epic never notice in 4 saling rough seas. Bon Voarge
I've never taken a cruise and have no real interest in it; however, some of those itineraries are really appealing, especially the Norwegian Getaway, though I've already visited all those places, save for Mykonos and Ephesus. Maybe I should pick a different one 🙂
Good video my friend.
Booked June 2025 on Voyager of the Seas- Athens to Rome. This journey stops at every place we wanted to see.
Great information! Any recommendations for the best way to reach the cruise terminal from the athens airport as many people said the walk is very long from the ferry port and things to do nearby? Thanks!
I'll be talking about this in my upcoming vid on cruise ships in Athens :-)
Thanks for the great video. We are prone to motion sickness and would like to do Greece and Turkey. Will October sailing with Odessey of the seas be stormy (3 sea days) or should be go for Norwegian Getaway with no seas days. We have cruise with Norwegian before and woukdnoike to try Royal Carribbean. Grateful for your thoughts. Thanks very much.
October can get pretty stormy on some days, so if you re prone to motion sickness, I'd go for Norwegian Getaway
Will the weather be calmer and less stormy in September than October in Greece as Norwegian Getaway also have September sailings. We are prone to motion sickness and also not too hot as prefer cool weather. Thanks
What about Celestyal cruises? They are a Greek owned cruise line and focus on Greece. I'm cruising with them this fall for the first time.
Older ships and itineraries not always as solid as the ones I mention in the video. But thats just my opinion, I know many people who were happy with their celestyal cruise :-)
Are any Greece-only cruised out there? ? Thank you so much, you provided useful informations.
Celebrity Infinity (which I mention at 6:26) is pretty much a Greece-only cruise. If your focus is solely on Greece, I'd go for that one.
Thank you, we booked 8 days in Athens, and 16 days on Crete Island in May, I would love to get to see more islands, perhaps a cruise is a good idea.😄
RB Odessey of the seas have 3 sea days for Greece/Turkey. Which months are best for calm seas? Thanks
June to September
Which months are the seas calm on a cruise in Greece and Turkey on Norwegian Getaway? Thanks
June to September
how i get solo deals
There are true Greek boutique cruises that are thousand years light ahead of massive tourism
We prefer cooler weather to visit Greece. Should it be September? Thanks
He has made a video about when to travel there and the weather. You can search the playlist but I think it's more October it gets cooler
September can still be pretty hot, around 30°. October or even early November are around 20°.
Try winter months
I'm not going to watch this video, not a fan of cruises, I always advise, stay on the island and use the ferries, see more and experience Greece 😎
