In the “Unforgettable” performance with Jack she sings in her Karen Walker voice (which makes sense 😆). This is a dream sequence (well, tripping sequence - in this episode they accidentally ingest shrooms) she gets to sing (and say a final goodbye to Stanley) in her Meghan Mullally voice. She needs to get back to Broadway. The last thing I saw her in was “Grease” a million years ago.
I am in Hamurg Germany where Will and Grace is showing on television 📺. When She announces that She is going to sing "The man that got away", the story goes back to the other actors. When this wonderfull performer comes back sing OMG. She is really something! Ray Jackson

She is such a magnificent singer, she knows exactly what to do with her voice. It it such a pity, that the series endend so sad.... Because of the animosities.... . I Like Sean Hayes BRAVA....
were they her vocals? if they were, were they live and the lip synching isnt top notch?...dont get me wrong, its a great song and a great character...but the performance has something lacking
Based on her theatre background and having performed in Broadway musicals it is certainly within her ability to do it live. Either way, I love it. I wish they had included the entire song in the broadcast episode.
