Nice job! The previous owner of my r3 installed a slip on just like this but it wobbles at the end. Looks like they did not do what you did to make it fit tightly.
Thank you! Yeah it had to be done to ensure it fit properly. An easier way would be to buy additional exhaust gaskets, insert it where the slip on meets the header and just wrench it till itâs tight. Be sure to subscribe so you donât missing out one moto contents.
for a slip on no for a full exhaust yes, slip on just replaces muffler not the cat or the header. So no you don't. I would get a tune just because of the EPA manufactures detune your bike to meet the emission standards, tuning is always great to get the most out of your bike. But if you are worried about it being lean no it won't with a slip on.
The stock catalytic converter is still there, simply just replaced the exhaust âcanâ. Any change to the catalytic converters would require a tune to ensure the bike runs properly. -Mike.
Found this really helpful! Thanks!
Youâre welcome. Glad it helped!!

You should get the ecu tuned.

With or without catalyst?
