I don't think ive ever heard anybody have a bad word about Paul which is rare in wrestling. Most ive heard negative about him was the odd time he got in legal trouble wayy back and the backstage fight he had with Khali.
@@RainbowRoadCrashTest yeah I heard a couple little things years and years ago but nothing at all in the past 15 to 20 years so it was when he was still really young on top of just becoming famous so as he has said before, it took him a while to really grow up and settle down and learn. Only negative thing I've ever heard since then was from a close friend that was in wwe for about 5 or 6 years until a couple years back (I won't mention his name) but he was in the lockeroom nightly lol, he said everyone loved big show and he was a nice guy but my friend said he was a bit whiney quite a bit lol. I know it sounds weird bit that's what he said, just that he would whine alot about diff things if he wasn't happy and that was the only somewhat negative part about his reputation at the time in the back. I would have loved to have been a fly on the wall and heard some of it lol it prob was hilarious stuff lol.
AEW just seems to be the place for wrestlers to go to be happy with themselves and their careers. Jon Moxley had the passion for wrestling squeezed out of him, but AEW reinvigorated him and raised him to a level he'd never been at before. Brodie Lee had the run of his life before his tragic early passing. Sting gets a second chance to end his legendary career in the manner he deserves. Christian gets the chance to show how _really_ good he's always been. Even CM Punk was so impressed with what he saw on offer here that it was enough to tempt him out of 7 years of retirement to pick up practically where he left off. I can't wait to see what AEW can do for Windham Rotunda, the former Bray Wyatt, so brilliant but so often buried and misused no matter how hard he worked.
or a backstage interviewer , like how renee young was. since tony (forgot how to spell his last name sadly) let’s just say tony s , is doing the somewhat small backstage interviews/in ring ones and chris would be perfect for that role

This was fun to watch. You guys have great chemistry together in this format and I'm sure it would've been more entertaining in person. Great interview, Chris!
Great interview sir. This shows just how cool Paul Wight is, and what a priceless presence he will be in AEW in terms of his wisdom and his experience. When AEW eventually signs a talented giant, I feel like Paul will be an invaluable program for that person. Good stuff Chris. Keep it comin'!
I met Paul at a live event in Feb 2016 and it looked like we was walking rough, keep in mind he was on the card that night. So glad to hear his hip is feeling better. I wanted to meet him for 13 years (hoped to at Wrestlemania 19 fan axxess when I was 10) and it was well worth it, such a kind man.
Thanks for giving us this interview Chris! Big Show will always be my favorite wrestler of all time, and he will always be 7 foot 500 pound Giant. He is the reason why I love wrestling!! I will say my favorite Big Show run was when he was the ECW Champion. I can't wait to see his future in AEW! Greetings from Norway.
I want a Chris Van Vilet + Paul Wight buddy cop movie!! Seriously, Chris. - Your original interview with Paul is one of my favourite shoot interviews of all time, so it's a real treat to see you two chatting again!
Paul was so much fun! Excellent conversation. Paul is a treasure and an excellent wrestling mind. Love to hear his thoughts on much more (besides his time on Elevation)
I have been absolutely loving Paul on commentary for Elevation and I'm so happy he's able to utilize his personality and talent in expanded aspects in the industry. I was at the Houston show when he announced he would be back for in-ring action and man oh man, I popped! Thank you, Chris for this awesome interview. Your positivity is infectious and just seeing you smile puts a smile on my face!
Paul Wight is such a cool down to earth naturally funny guy, i even watched his sitcom even though i´m not the audience for it. So cool to see him more often in pro wrestling again, such a legend!
What a perfect combination, Paul Wight is a great interview subject as he's so thoughtful, funny, and honest, and Chris is a great interviewer with insightful questions and allows his guest to answer without interruptions and he is actually listening to what they say.
I met the big show at a airport in Australia many years ago,, He was trying to eat lunch and young fans came up for autographs. I was one of them, he put his lunch down and signed all of them and posed for pictures. Respect!
I’m so excited to see Paul Wight back in the ring with his new hip. A buddy of mine who is a stage combat director got both done and he can back peddle and squat now. He said it’s a complete 180 from what it was and feels great. Seen Show live before and like what he’s doing for AEW
man CVV is so freaking good as an interviewer even that last part where he joked about being in a cop movie and paul did a dig at himself with the whole good looking guy and ogre thing Chris fliped it real quick and i gotta respect that man. Great interview like always!
Another GREAT interview! I've always enjoyed Paul Wight's work both inside and outside the ring and I'm glad to see him doing what he loves again. Keep pumping out the great interviews, Chris. Can't wait to see whose next.
