I showed this video to my mom who loves jazz, first thing she said after listening for a couple seconds was “he’s the Bill Evans of the guitar”. I couldn’t have said it better.
The one and only TED GREENE AMAZING i bought Ted Greene's chord chemistry 40 years ago it upgraded my playing dramatically and was the basis for all my harmonic concepts ...still have it . A true master 🙏🙏🙏
Ted Greene's modern chord exercises has reshaped my brain and how I think of chords and melodies. Especially when you start trying to improvise with his exercises as templates. Twice is sweet since I also play a telecaster 😁
Ted Greene is the master of the telecaster. When guys like Tim Lerch cite Ted Greene as one of his biggest influences you know that this guy must be good. I've known this for decades now (yeah, I'm an old 58) but many younger players don't know who Tim Lerch is let alone Ted Greene you know that videos like this one are genuine historical gems. He's a fantastic improviser and wanders the neck with ridiculous ease that one viewing is just not enough. Thank you for this absolute gem of a video, with the AI getting the restaurant noise down making it beautifully listenable, and I'll be watching it again and again. Thanks again. - Mark from Australia.
More great playing from Ted. He seemed to like keeping his playing on the DL but those who were aware of him knew the greatness they were witnessing. Thanks for posting this and keeping his memory alive for those of us who loved his playing/teaching.
Amazing job of suppressing the background noise on these priceless videos, thank you for all the hard work!! Little would anybody have known that these Friday night performances at a now defunct local eatery (not exactly a marquee venue) would be immortalized as rare documents of Ted Greene’s genius. The diners probably didn’t pay much attention to the guitarist in the background, but decades later WE are grateful to have this!!
This is great, thanks so much for this! Is there a program you recommend with this AI noise-suppression technology that I could use to have the crowd noise removed from gig footage relatively easily?

❤I’m in beautiful agreement with your Mom

amazing. If I walked into a restaurant and this playing I would not be able to eat
I would enjoy a drink while listening to Ted though 😊
Thanks for removing the background noise in the resto, most of it anyway. Much appreciated.
Wish I could give more than one thumbs up. Thanks for posting this gem of a night on the town playing ... Ted was unique if you ask me.
Ted's versions of 'I Remember You' are just some of the most beautiful things ever played on a guitar.

He's in his own class. He understood the beauty of sound and conveyed it so honestly, without tricks.
The one and only Ted Greene.
What a gift to us all, thank you so much!

Gifts from God
There's a "god", and it gives gifts?!
@@chikkipop one of them was named Ted Greene
@@BrettVaughn Ahhh, so there's others!?
@@chikkipop you can call him a gift or call him a god. Or both. Or none of the above. The choice is yours Dennis!
@BrettVaughn Choices should be constrained by reality. Your original comment seemed to suggest Ted received gifts from a god.
Wow!!!
Oh wow - so Beauteous 🎸❤️
Yes, Ted usually tuned his guitar down a 1/2 step, or a full step....and sometimes even more. The audio on this video is correct.
This is fantastic!
Thank you so much 🙏🙏
Incredibly thankful to you
This is fantastic; thanks for doing it
Sounds sooo much better now, thank you!

Hi Andy. I sent you an email.
She sells seashells.😂 Sorry it is Ismo Leikola World's funniest man joke and suits here❤🎸.
And Ted Greene was amazing...
Ted took the guitar apart man
What a great community Ted Greene has. Here I thought the punters were in hushed reverence.
Is the audio just a half step higher or did he tune a half step lower?
Ted is THE chord-melody Master! Frequently copied, but never equalled...
