I have a pro 528 scanner its a triple trunking scanner that works amazing the only thing that sucks is my sheriff's department is all encrypted and now its useless.
@@13Voodoobilly69 ---> One thing I know about this scanner is that it will work on P25 phase 1 & 2, but not on P25E only a two or three States inside the U.S. are on P25E so if you go to RadioReference and you see your State on P25 it will work fine. P25E is extremely expensive and uses cell type fulltime digitally encrypted with this type of special encryption which the physical radio has to have a certain chip on it that can be shut off or switched at any given time. Some people swear SDS100+SDS200 will work with P25E but no matter what they tell you, even with the Uniden Unlocking features, it will not work as of today's date.
IQ based scanners such as the SDS 100 is the way to go compared to the old style hardware based ones such as the XT all the way up to 436 that would not be efficient at all as those Hardware based radios suck
Those scanners have delays and limited accessibility. Where these scanners have real time, better reception, access multiple channels of your choice. You can also scan local activities. The digital ones your thinking of it your foot in the door. A professional grade is only worth what you put in
It's a great scanner I own 3😊
And what antenna would you recommend for the 800-1000 MHz band, but for Broadcasting? not of great size
Hello sir where did you find the antenna adapter?? Thank you
I get mine from associated radio out of Kansas City Missouri

You could move.
What roof mount antenna are you using?
Can scanner locate encrypted radio signals?
Is it a digital signal and not an analog one that can be listened to?
Yes it's fully digital ... I have the SDS200.. I love this big screen...

Will it work on trunked systems
It will do digital AND analog signals plus P25 phase II simulcast.

Can't you just use a standard scanner to listen to all that also and not spend as much.
