Hi Mam..My son 4years old.He is taking OT for past 1 year. He has severe visual, sound and tactile sensory integration issues.He has shown improvement overall but visual sensory seeking behavior is still there. He keeps looking at words printed in house hold stuff, books, calendars, bar code numbers etc. He learnt lot of words. He focuses attention on objects when he goes to friend house rather than looking at kids or people. Does it take time to integrate visual seeking ? Are we going on right track with OT? Any other therapy is required. Please provide your advise.

Now he wear shoe by his own. And many change. Hi, at 5 years kids are expected to communicate their thoughts in sentence. From what u have been saying, I understand he is good in academics but think about placing him in CBSE as it involves lots of logical thinking and reasoning. If your son is good in it, u can definitely join him in CBSE. Hope this is useful
.we joined my kid in velammal school in 2020 as lkg.. again we place in lkg now because of this issue. We wait and see how he perform in 2022 - 2023.. later we join another school mam.... can u suggest any good school for my kid.. I am located in chennai, tondiarpet..

Hi mam, After seeing your video about autism I found my baby is in that tract. I ve meet a speech therapist and asked for OT too, he found that he is having mild autism features. He is 2years and 1month old ,did he possible to lead a normal life as other kids?? Can i able to join him normal school??? Plz suggest me

Yes Pavithra, you are on the right track. Visual sensory seeking are mostly difficult to get satisfied and takes time.
