Make sure the connections from the transformer to the electrode are good and tight. Those af2 burners have caught me on a call back from that crap.

How do you check the transformer on that type of burner

With my pressure gauge on the supply tube, I had the electrode assembly laying on some dry rags. I turned on the switch(keeping my hand on it) and used my screw driver. Is a pain, but it worked.
