@neergfrog Unfortunately we do at this time. However, we are working on putting together tutorials for all the dell laptop models and we hope to have one up shortly.

You probably can but, the d630s have a higher res screen cable and a lower res screen cable that are not cross compatible. You will need to know which cable you have to make sure the resolution is compatible. The part number for the low res cable (WXGA) is NT108. If you have this cable, it will not work with higher res screens (WXGA+ or better). The higher res cable part number is YN941, it will work with all the resolutions.

After disassembly, I had placed the parts aside while I waited for the delivery of the screen. It had been a few days so I did not remember the orientation of the side rails from when I took them off. So after reassembling everything I was at the stage of reattaching the bezel and it would not snap back on. It was then I realized I had put the side rails on the wrong sides, causing the screen to be set up too high. It was not too much of a hassle to switch them around, but it would have been nice to have a note on the video to pay attention to the side rail orientation. The fact they actually screwed on wrong gave no indication at that time they were on the wrong sides.

Great video! Can I install a 1400x1050 LCD from a Dell Latitude D600 into a D630 that is originally with a lower resolution LCD?

I removed a leaking d630 ATG (ruggedized) screen... and I couldn't fit the WXGA+ screen! (the lid latch was too beefy) :-( just a warning for those trying to do an upgrade! Thankfully I have a regular d630 WXGA to "hand down" and graft to the ATG... and then hopefully I can upgrade it with the WXGA+

This video tells you how to replace the screen once the lid has been removed from the laptop. It doesn't show you how to remove the lid in the first place, nor are there pointers on this page to where that is shown!
If I know how to remove the lid half I can change the hinges, but where is that, please?
