The Pan African Parliament is not a democratic body. None of its representatives were democratically elected by the African citizens. We as young people, refuse to be led by such. It is our future at stake here and our concerns and needs should be addressed by us. We need young people to drive our continent, not old people.

The fact that they have to talk about the rotation of power after so many years of the founding is very sad. The core reason for the establishment of the PAP must come first. African unity must come and anything that will make it happen must come first. If that is achieved, every other issue will be easy to solve. African unity has been a major problem since I wasn’t born, till today, it’s almost becomes impossible to achieve. Until we start to see each other as equals and the same and not defined by region or on the basis of who our colonial masters were, we will be stagnant in our mindsets and have no meaningful development for the future of Africa. Very UNFORTUNATE.

Pan African parliament could not put their house in order much more than to unite the whole Africa. The unification of Africa will not be something easy. If it happened, then Bravo. Leadership is the problem in Africa where everybody seems to see themselves rather than the majority. They are fighting over the rotation of the leadership in Pan African parliament as to who will become the leader. Africa, have a long way to go. We do not have to seek any more blessings for Africa, as Almighty Allah already blessed Africa with plenty of mineral resources. It is up to Africa to see how we can utilise those resources to benefit ourselves as a continent. Otherwise, we are completely finished.
