@@TeaRexChannel I put in the grind, it honestly wasn't that hard for me thanks to Sim and people running rigged Operations but it still forced me to have to play WT every second day when I'd rather be playing something else
It's a pretty generous BR even in Sim, if you start a match with everyone else and perform even just okay in your 8.0 you'll be in the F-11 pretty quickly! (or if your Phantom blows up) But yeah that cost. Could be worse though, sim pilots can break even pretty quickly as long as no one's strafing. Which is always in EC6.
@@TeaRexChannel Yeeep. I make it a point to hunt strafers soon as I get up in a Lightning or Phantom, haha. I've been finding that IL-28 pilots are the most common offenders lately, not sure why. Probably because they're already in the middle of a bombing run.
@@TeaRexChannel I believe it. I haven't seen too many Phantoms but I'm usually not on the other side feeling the brunt of Phantoms since I'm flying Brits (and I hate joining user lobbies that have every country vs every country).
@@herrdoktor1071 That's the monetization model. Instead of using the modern F2p monetization of making the game really enjoyable with tons of cosmetics and battlepass. Instead, they stick to the proven far less effective method of draining the soul out of your player base for small amounts of cash as the game slow dies off and has 0 chance of survival if a true competitor come around.
@@herrdoktor1071 I think its because they are done with WT. They are moving onto other projects such as Enlisted and Cusine Royal. This method allows them to slowly kill they playerbase while at the same time milking them for all their worth. They also have the game pretty close to life support development with little to no real gameplay advancements or very minor ones and farming most of the work out to contractors and then selling it to make the money back. They are a business yes so they need to make money but it is very clear from a business perspective they no longer want the game to grow.
I think I know the reason why gaijin put 26K sl repair cost, I think it's because they don't want 9.0 Air rb flooded by F11. like events before such as M60ambt which ruin American 10.0
The why they add such events? ffs... and it's flight model still bugged, I gets -1 -2 G while doing a simple roll... I don't f..cking get it. Working 22 days for nothing, GG game of the decade.
This isn’t the only plane that could shoot itself down. Managed to that to the SU-28 when shot some rounds out at an enemy, dove down in shallow dive before pulling up, and all of a sudden I receive multiple hits from my own burst of rounds thus tearing my wing and wound getting a crash result. So yes Warthunder has accounted for supersonic capable jets being able to shoot themselves down by doing this and when it happens it is considered a crash, similar to all the other ways you can knock yourself out of the sky.
It is bad enough you have to buy this thing in the market. That is bad enough, but then you have spade the damn thing. For me, I do not find that a feasible idea. Not worth the money and aggravation.
Of course, between the time of initially uploading this video and its scheduled release it seems that the repair cost has gone down...by 9k.
oh, how generous...

@@sparetime2475 That is one theory we have been considering. Even so, Gaijin should have factored this in before introducing such high repair costs.
Loving this style of video!!! Very needed in the sim community. This is awesome, can't wait to see the next one!
I'm glad it has been well received! I shall definitely make more :D
Great video. I Dont have any jets yet but I love the format and the understated humor. Looking forward to more.
Already got 2 more in the editing room now :)
Nice job man, great presentation.
By the way, RE my post the other day: Gaijin doubled the partnership requirements 😭
Thanks mate! And really? Thats a bummer! :(
Great work man!. that operation SUMMER and dead hamsters had me lauching!
Haha, glad you liked it! :)

To add. After economy change its 77k. stock cost rise from 50-59k
Blimey :(
I just bought it on the Marketplace for 28$
Saved me grinding 🤣
I honestly do not blame you in the slightest lmao
Just got mine too!
@PBJMan I found that out the hard way.
Better get the FGR2 or F4E quick, gotta get those sparrows!

Oh if people were not strafing it could definitely be easy to break even with it....sadly this is EC6 :P

The 68k SL repair cost is what turned me off to it. I still have the coupon, but I might end up selling it if the repair cost stays the same
