I'm very happy and thankful to have found your channel since the world shut down. Means a lot that you've gone to these really interesting museums to share with us all.
That place was fascinating - preserving the separate movie entrances is an important but ugly part of our history that really wasn't that long ago in the span of time. Thank you for making that point with the water fountain.
wondered too were they restoring that part to former glory like how it looked ? as looked messy or in the middle of a renovation .....
I've always found it odd that Edgar Burgen became famous doing a ventriloquist act on the RADIO!!!!........ON THE......R A D I O!!!!.......How was that an act?
He wouldn't have even needed the puppet.
A teeny-tiny bit a Googling would have told you people knew him from the precursor to Broadway: Vaudeville, and other traveling shows.

There was a very popular , long running radio show in the UK featuring a ventriloquist Peter Brough and his dummy Archie Andrew's.. TV film of Brough shows him as not a wonderful ventriloquist

I love Max Blade. My cousin and I always go to see him when we go to Hot Springs. He's honestly such a character, but he's incredibly sweet too, and his curiousity shop is amazing. He told us he tries to always update it and always with authentic items.

I had to stop watching the video to google the word Gypsy. I had no idea that that is not a nice word. You taught me something today. Fun fact - did you know that Snookie , from Jersey shore, is Romani.

MyOneLife do you ever wonder why our world is becoming more “butt hurt” now. It’s not because we were raised easily offended, it’s because we grew up with the internet. At an early age we were learning about other races and cultures from somewhere other than our white washed history books. We even would chat to people from other countries and learn first hand what their lives are like. Older generations really need to open their minds and stop thinking just because it was ok yesterday doesn’t mean it’s ok today.
