I was there with my grandmother. You will rarely if ever see a crowd like this attend an evangelist's sermon any more. So grateful my granny got to hear this as she soooo needed Jesus. She was 68 years old and I was 18.
I brought a friend with me on one of the days Graham spoke in Denver, being a new Christian myself. My friend didn't answer the alter call, however. I hope he has found peace all these years later, I haven't seen or talked to him in over 30 years.
