I bought Vostok tank commander last month, it is super cool & so value for money, despite chrome plating, I was able to wear is in almost every look. The watch allows you to use it without worrying about scratching it since it only costed you 3k it feels good to use it to full extent. It’s a no.1 Machinical field option for me & it is serving me so well. It’s definitely a legacy watch for me.

Bro which one will you recommend Vostok Amphibia or Entry level Seiko automatic
Amphibia has manual winding which is missing in SEIKO entry level. And Vostok built quality is better. But accuracy is better with SEIKO.
there is trick to change the date ...first reach to 12hrs marker then back to 10hrs marker in backward position then again go to 12hrs marker ...repeat this again and again until you reach you required date.....in this way you dont need to go for whole round twice

Amphibian is the best with 200m WR, but expensive as well. Customs duty is unpredictable - can be upto 40% of the price. I have imported three Vostoks and all were cleared by customs free

My city does not have airpot. If it gets custom duty, do I have to pay by going to the airport to pay the duty and get it?

For hmt custom dial, Gautam Haryani ji is the best. Kohinoor regular dial - you can get from Mr Vimal Sharma

If I am not wrong, 0231 or 0231a are handwinding movement which is the only 17 jewell movement hmt made under licence from Citizen. Automatic movements were 6906 and they were 21 jewell.
