      I never really got reggae...now,I completely demolished interor of the family house(yes,walls also) and build it almost from ground up. It took me 9 months,every day about 10h...I did it with help of mr. Peter Tosh and all his albums...on repeat. I feel now not only I did good for family,but this music,lyrics and God honest handwork changed me for the better. Thank you Peter,legend of this realm of Earth and I hope we meet someday in Babylon heaven :)

      @Peesda Babylon cannot be used in conjunction with heaven. Babylon represents evil oppression, systematic control, wickedness etc.. You mean Zion. That's the reference to heaven for them.

    These three men are an inspiration to humanity. Poor fellas in a poor country succeeded in recording a dozen albums and touring the world playing music to people of all colors, classes, and creeds. This is the meaning of Unity!

    • @mississippijohnfahey7175
      @mississippijohnfahey7175 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      But everyone can't tour the world playing music. They're definitely an inspiration, but their success is an illusion in that it's not available to most people regardless of how bad they want it or how skilled they are

    • @vadermasktruth
      @vadermasktruth ปีที่แล้ว +9

      @@mississippijohnfahey7175 My young friend, their success in no illusion, it is very tangible and real. But you mean that it isn't attainable for YOU, or most others. But you certainly have more resources at the ready than these three gentleman did, eh? These dudes were homeless, "disabled," somewhat unkempt, and without a pot to piss in or a window to throw it out of. You have the internet, a device to access it-likely more than one device, a roof over your head & a blanket to cover your sleeping self. So if you have the talent to sing or be a player of instruments, you can more easily succeed today than 40+ years ago. If it's not music, it could be something else? Drawing/painting/collaging? Writing? Playing basketball or soccer? Whatever you are good at or have a passion for want to learn, just keep going and always be a gentleman to everyone you meet. Be kind and polite with people who hold beliefs very different from yours.

      @@vadermasktruth you don't know a thing about me. Stop making assumptions. And the way the record industry works, everyone cannot be famous. That would be contradictory to the meaning of fame..... My point is that just because one band makes it doesn't mean there aren't a hundred no one ever hears about, not because they didn't want it, or weren't good, but because they just didn't get chosen. Capitalism dawg, there are always a lot more losers than winners

      @@mississippijohnfahey7175 I hear you, brother. I'm an old-school punk rocker and doing nothing isn't an option. The hippies, punks, natty dreads, and back-to-the-land types have much more in common that unites us! We are each "successful" in a diff way. I would never voluntarily move to New York City or live as a rock star like these guys did, as well as others.
