In some situations my rockerll plc will automatically upload. I noticed that if there some minor differences in the logic (laptop copy and plc copies are different) , studio 5000 will autimatically upload instead instead of showing the upload/download selection screen. Is there a setting that can make to have system always instead automatically uploading?
That is a really interesting question. I have wondered what the threshold is between Studio 5000's ability to correlate a change and needing to upload. I didn't see an answer offhand. Let me know if you figure out anything.

Definitely a sinking field on when you realize you clicked the wrong one.
Right now, I am trying to figure how to retain or recollect HMI values before a download was done to a PLC from Studio 5000.

can i make a upload if the PLC is in RUN mode? not in rem run mode only run mode
Yes you can upload, but you can't download
So Upload is from PLC to PC?

If I go online with a previous version of a program will it keep the new or old settings after I disconnect?
