Best intro, now I want to watch every video you have on plcs, I'm an electrician(installation electrician) but I got into an industry that does not deal with plcs and now I want to shift to that,
Dame am going to maintenance tech trade school rn and went into PLC course 1st day didn’t understand and saw this vid and understood everything I was tought that day haha 🤣 thx so much !
Enjoyed your presentation as~is. Thanks. I’m an electrician with rudimentary plc experience who has recently acquired a job in maintenance for industrial automations. Would you have any recommendations for me to study to advance and update my knowledge with Siemens Controls; I/o’s and anything useful to expedite troubleshooting? Thank you in advance.
Glad you enjoyed the video. I don't have a lot of recent experience with Siemens but they are a very common PLC in industry. there may be online or local courses you are able to attend. If I come across any useful resource I'll keep it in mind.
Been going to school for computer science realized coding is not what I want to do I want to fix machines in factories.. so trying to learn and understand as much as I can
Hi Nick. In depends on what your output (lamp) is in the application. In the OR configuration you might like to have 2 different buttons in different location activating the same output. In the AND configuration imagine the switches are permissive in nature. You might have say 2 different pressure switches in different parts of a plant that need to close in order to make a pump run. Does that help?
Hope you enjoyed. Its certainly a topic I can cover in a future video :) I'm working on a PLC architecture video at the moment as a follow up to this video.
Blessings, Jesus loves you. “For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.” John 3:16

Shift to what?
did you shift? how is it going?
This is so good and simple! I'm very eager to watch the rest of the series !

Very beautifully done.
Thankyou!
What do you guys think of this style of presentation. Do you like the tablet presentations, or do you prefer the animated versions?
I really like it
It was so hepful
What software are you using?
I think it's easy to follow

@@InstrumentationControlwhat a decent guy nice to see 👍
Where can I find a full free course on PLC or TH-cam tutorial?
Very good way of explaining it.
Thanks and you are welcome
Thank you so much helped a lot I’m trying to be industrial sparky sick of general lit lab lol
Glad I could help!
I hope beginners don’t think the C in PLC stands for ‘Solver’
Controller! thank you jack. I have no idea why I put solver, great spot.
😂 controller
is a soft "c"..... like in the word "center" 😜

thanks sir
Really helping !!!
A rather demonstrative example of an AND/OR logic with lamps connected in series and in parallel👍
I do believe that you meant "switches" in series and parallel....not LED 's.....
@@jimsdaone Right. Just to be more fastidious: with switches and LEDs in this particular example :-)
I’m not understanding why you would have two switches. Pardon my misunderstanding. Any help?

@@InstrumentationControl thank you so much for the fast reply. Yes you cleared it all up for me.
maybe as a safety, on certain machines that require both hands in machines so no one gets hurt
Thanks for this video! Could you do voltage drop next

@@InstrumentationControl ok thanks!
What tablet andsoftware are you using in this video?
It's a Samsung galaxy tab s7 running the app "concepts"
Thats correct!

Can I get certificate after watching video from starting to ending
That's just logic programming I learned in college while learning assembly

It would help if he wouldn't speak so quickly. Remember you are speaking to beginners.
