You can get a Gallade with mean look, false swipes and hypnosis if you breed a Ralts with a male Gastly which has mean look. This way pokemon can't escape, you can bring them down to 1 HP and bring them to sleep. This is the best setup to catch any pokemon!

You can catch a ralts in the grand underground that already knows mean look as well!
Also if you're looking for a specific nature synchronize will make the wild Pokemon's nature the same as your Pokemon so breeding like 20 rults with different natures with the synchronizability is your best bet.

You can fail a question in Fantina's gym to see Drfiloon for your National Dex so for anyone who ends up not being able to complete the dex due to it not spawning can see if through this method
Yesterday just so happened to be friday so i caught drifloon at the windworks
Don't even have to "fail" any questions just go through wiping out all the gym trainers regardless of knowing the answers. Using the answer to simply know which door to go through last for each room.
Sadly you can’t do this if you didn’t know before hand. So the game punishes you for playing correctly and putting the right answer. After you beat the gym leader you can’t even go back and fight the trainers still

@@Ashguin1 they aren’t that hard. You should be 10-20 levels higher than them, except Cynthia, unless you kept changing your team up frequently. Cynthia should be the same level as you or close to it. No grinding needed, although many people skip a lot of optional areas and the underground exp isn’t bad, even if it’s just catching a few.
Cynthia is really the only challenge in this game. She’s great, but if you allow yourself to use items like max potion or revive even she becomes a joke in the end.
Id wanna say he made a mistake putting combee in the top ten and not heracross , you can just find combee in the grand underground, meanwhile you're stuck with the trees for heracross

While searching for my feebas I ran into a shiny gyarados and caught it. Ended up finding feebas right after. But the trick for the poffins is mix chesto, razz, and wiki (or kelpsy) in the amity Park. You'll get 3 level 30+ dry poffins. Do that and you'll get milotic a lot faster.

Beldum is actually a fairly common spawn in the grand underground. Top left most cavern where you find the lucky egg.

Combee is easy to find in they underground as well. You can reset on one until you get a female. You can also see if it's female on it's overworld sprite.
In the OG Diamond and Pearl I got a female combee on my first try with the tree. That eventual Vespiqen got me thru 4 gyms

I dont think female combee even deserves to be on this list, you slather honey on all the trees available, wait for 6 hours and check every tree, its encounter rate is low but you will definitely find a combee in one or two attempts of slathering honey. You should save before checking any honey tree, if its a female combee great, if its male, you can soft reset and check the tree again, resetting keeps the pokemon the same but has a chance to change the gender for some reason. So you will definitely get a female combee in at max a day
Yeah, if we're speaking about annoying honey tree, there's munchlax with an 1% encounter rate on 4 random tree, randomized by save.
And there's still the underground for that
Or just spend 20 min in the grand underground. Wayyyyy easier than dealing with the trees

I want to add, you can definitely mix berries that have dry as a their profile - makes better poffins. Also the better the quality of your poffin, the more it boosts the stats of your Feebas. I would love it if GF did more of these evolutions - makes it more fun evolving, without having to trade...
Today is Friday for me and when I saw the Drifloon outside the Valley Windworks I thought it’d be a good team member for me to add. I’ve had such a difficult time fighting it that I just gave up.
I was able to find a Beldum in the grand underground by using as many steel type Pokémon statues I have and going in and out of the big sandy cave until I found one
i did the same within the ice cave areas. took me a couple tries but it worked out 😁
Was just about to share this! Lol it was pretty simple getting it in the Grand Underground like this, but using the swarm method will be useful for chaining for ivs/shinies.
Yeah, Spiritomb does take a while to find, but it was worth it to me. I was really excited to catch Spiritomb because it has become one of my favourite Ghost or Dark type Pokémon, but I have never used one on my team until now.

Took me 5 hours underground to catch Spiritomb before the 3rd badge. First time having it on my team and it’s a strong gorl 😁
I’m surprised Heracross isn’t on here, with a 1% encounter rate on honey trees, and 3.5% on Munchlax trees

Beldum can be found in the grand underground in the icy rooms, it’s pretty common spawn wise and i caught one first try with a quick ball
Getting all 3 Regis is super easy now. They were the first 3 I got from the park

Hey, Mystic, I enjoyed the video! I really needed a distraction this morning from some life stuff, but I just wanted to mention one thing. You don’t actually need to do the Battle Tower battles to get the Beldum. Or at least, I didn’t. I got the Beldum as like my second day of swarms, I know I was super lucky to get it so soon, but I haven’t touched the battle tower, just the quick cutscenes with Palmer and all that, and I had access.

You can find female combee in the underground easy. The underground sprite had the pink on it. So you can find one much easier underground. Just look for the pinky in the middle of the bees 🐝
Its super easy to find a female combee now, same with Beldum. Both are in the underground. Also Dialga and Palkia have the same catch rate of 3.

You can just go in and out of the underground rooms until the combee sprite has a red triangle. Really quick capture.
I found quite a few wild Beldum in the Grand Underground below Snowpoint City last night. It took a bit of time, but I was able to catch one on my first encounter.
you fail to remember beldum can be found in the grand underground in (i think) 3 types of caves, so that noticably reduces how rare it actually is to encounter it in the first place. but, its catch rate is still as low as ever so it's still pretty hard to catch.
like i for one spent more time trying to catch a singular beldum (which, for the record, i failed to catch because the beldum used struggled and killed itself), than finding it in the first place. and i found many more afterwards.

Combee wasn’t hard at all, you just go to the underground. Got mine super fast
You don't at all need the 7 win streak in the battle tower, the battle tower is a totally optional part of the game.
Feebas is really hard to get but they did make it but easier in this game. Feebas only spawns in the lower half of the lake - so even if you decide you want to just fish until you get one, you don't have to search the entire lake

After a long time when I caught it , It seems to have a modest nature

I like how they made getting spiritomb slightly easier but still frustrating
austin did a video on the feebees explaining the easist way to catch it, something with the daily lottery numbers gives a hint on where u can fish one up
Beldum can be found in the grand underground. And you can boost it using steel statues
You can find Beldum underground, and yes hard to capture but, you can use the dusk ball to make it much easier

Although I am not sure I agree with it😝 I find Beldum incredibly easy to find and catch in the Grand Underground and so is combee as you can use the time you are looking for it to gain experience points or also hunt for a different pokemon. Heracross on the other hand is a piece of work as it only spawns on trees

Feebas is actually very easy to get, theres a tutorial on yt how to find the tiles where feebas is located

Feebas is a lil bit of a pain, but it's so damn worth it when you find one. I got one and it was my check to any Pokemon that gave me trouble. She took care of Cynthias team and the Battle Tower

At 15:12 you were talking about how there should be a way to locate your tiles and there is. Depending on your lottery ticket number for the day you can determine which 4 tiles have a chance to be the correct one meaning you only need to check 4 tiles instead of all of them
Chansey is hard, but you have a higher chance than you think. it spawns on a route (210 i think?) at 1% and was actually my first encounter, as well as getting Happiny from the egg from the dude in Eterna i believe? And then shortly after i found the round stone. Also got female combee on my third tree. Luckiest game I've ever had so far, crossing fingers for shinies and pokerus 🤞

I also got Chansey in my first 3 encounters on that route, but I had no idea of the spawn rate so I ended up killing it slowly with poison because it just wouldn't get into the pokeball. I then spent almost an hour trying to make it show up again just to leave in frustration thinking "who cares, I've seen it already.." D:
Idk why, but I've always been very fortunate in getting the pokérus. Since Emerald i think, I've gotten it on every Pokemon game I've owned.
An odd keystone can be found surfing on the lake in Twinleaf town. There's a small strip of land with some trees that you can walk on. Search that small area and the keystone is there.
I concede the NPC method is tedious AF but now getting Spiritomb overall is trivial.
Also, if all you care about is seeing Spiritomb, the champion has one, you can't miss it.

Literally caught driftloom right after I left the warehouse. Didn’t even know how rare it was!
Comber is much easier in this game and I feel like the underground encounters for it are underrated. That 12.5%chance is 1/8 encounters, which yah is higher than usual but not as bad as just Honey tree encounters.
My first pokemon was a female combee in the grand underground!

It took me almost 25 combee encounters for it to be female.
@@MinecraftLover58 I can't believe I wasn't the only one watching this that this happened too haha. Kept it on my team through the elite 4. I had it use destiny bond on Cynthia's garchomp and that's the only reason I even beat her.

Finding a female combee felt extremely easy for me I went to the the grand underground and found that in some select caves they spawn very close to the cave entrance and after that I discovered all you have to do is enter and leave multiple times and you'll be able to tell if the combee is a female.
Found beldum underground, with my base having x3 bonus for steel type running. I was hunting a completely different pokemon when I ran into this thing, it ate 20 balls trying to catch it at red hp. Going to breed out a bunch of them with my IV ditto and wonder trade them out for people :D
I used over 100 jars of honey trying to find a Heracross, I wanted him before my 4th gym, it felt like forever
Funny enough, when I was searching for Combee in the underground the first encounter was female but I had to let it go cuz I had only pokeballs and it was way too high level 😂😅. Found it again 20 min later, so I would definetly advice going to the underground for Combee
Milotic is super easy in bdsp. There’s a way to locate feebas based on your lottery number of the day and if you mix 3 kinds of berries Oran, wiki, figi, you’ll get Lv25-35 beauty poffins.
I got a female Dratini in the underground thanks to the statue effects and natdex. Good move pool, IVs and nature too.
This is why I battle all the trainers in the Hearthome gym

I soft reset for a shiny spirittomb, it only took 186 resets thankfully.
I have some difficult pokemon to share for this game.
Shiny Pearl: Fossils that aren’t Shieldon.
In Brilliant Diamond people have found Fossils that aren’t just Cranidos, even I found a different fossil. I found a Claw fossil right before the league after the 8th badge in the underground and apparently other brilliant diamond players have experience the same (Right after the 8th badge and before the league too) but oddly no shining Pearl players it’s weird.
Combee: Step aside, Munchlax! I'm the new Honey Tree queen!
Heracross is rarer than a female combee
I got all of them in the overworld/the legitimate way from D/P 2006/7 including a munchlax from a honey tree. You should have added Herracross I think

Hey Mystic did you forget you can find Combee & munchlax (and I think Porygon in post) in the Grand Underground?
Pro tip for female Combee. Max out your statues as best you can and when you look for it, when it spawns try and look for the red spot on the bottom comb. It's a gender didfthe males don't have and you can see it before you battle it. Saves you so much time.
Combee was super easy for me. I just left it in the nursery with ditto and just kept hatching eggs until I got several. 💁♂️
You probably won’t believe me, but I encountered Combee pretty early. In the underground and one of the first three I encountered were female. Not to mention several other females I’ve encountered since. so maybe it’s just me but I don’t think it’s difficult at all based solely off of my experience
The way that Milotic is “the hardest to obtain” and I took two hours to find feebas lmao and caught like 40 and then evolve it
i would say getting anorith on pearl and getting lileep on diamond should be on this list cuz finding the corresponding fossil on the given versions is a nightmare, i spent 8 hours underground trying to get a claw fossil, by the time i found one i had at least 4 of every other fossil and enough mystery shards to complete ramanas park twice.
Yes this is so true! I’m having the same issue on BD trying to get a dome fossil for Kabuto as well
I'm surprised Munchlax wasn't mentioned. Getting Spiritomb was a pain but worth it for me, I found a loop in the underground were NPC would span, unfortunately I had the bad luck of getting the same one a lot which I guess it's the point of them having a fixed rate of appearance.

funny enough, i actually ended up finding a female combee on my 1st honey tree lol my friend was pissed because she's been trying for days before i finally started doing the honey trees myself
I would love an NPC who would trade you a Feebas for, say, a Vespiquen. Vespiquen is hard to obtain, but not for someone who’s dedicated and smart enough to work out how to do it and manipulate RNG to get the Female Combee to complete this trade.

Combee is easy to get though
Orrr you can do what I did with mespirit, get it to low health and manipulate it on to the route you want. Save before you encounter it and if you fail just soft reset and try to capture mespirit or cresselia again :)
Drifloon is also found in Hearthhome gym if you purposefully answer questions wrong. There are 2 trainers with Drifloon.
Feebas is super easy to obtain as it is linked to your lottery number for the day
Honestly I think it was Heracross by a long shot. Got a 1% tree Munchlax before one!
Spiritomb is time consuming and in journey hard or near impossible but post game with areas where all npcs are boosted somewhere he isn’t too bad but like I said still time consuming.

Female combee wasnt too bad given resetting a combee or seeing on in overworld in underground. I get get a female combee from a tree way before the Heracross

I got two of the list before finishing Elite 4 last night... Combee to Vespiquen, and Milotic
3:30 Erm, can't you do a date/time system re-set? I always did this for these type of 'special day' event Pokémon and got them in like 10 minutes real time lol.
For catching Mesprit and Crescelia I recommend catching a Wobbuffet (in the crystal underground area). It’s ability shadow tag prevents them from fleeing
That's good but you can't affect them with status conditions or weaken them with wobbufet, he just knows defensive moves and counters, which are too risky. And if you switch pokemon they can run away again.
A good trick is to get a really fast Pokémon like ninjask who learns thunder wave, use it at first and then get a haunter or Murkrow with Mean Look (murkrow is best)

There is another trick to get Milotic that does not involve maxing out the beauty stat or using a prism scale. All you have to do is max out the special attack stat. And level it up.
Post game I wanted to catch a Heracross, so I finally slathered all the honey trees. I got a Heracross on my first and fourth trees. I was so hype.
Skarmory took me FOREVER to find. It feels like it has a super low encounter rate up on the volcano and even lower if using pokeradar
gallant is actually most likely among the best false swipers. i go for false swipe, mean look, hypnosis for sleep, and thunder shock for damage/paralyze if immune to hypnosis.

I think a lot could tbh, there are a few pokemon who are galaxy level, pokemon like arceus, mewtoo, mew, dialga, palkia, garintina, anything that affects time solo the whole verse

I think you cab manipulate the time for the trophy garden pokémon. Try changing the time on your device, maybe that’ll work.
Ive seen Beldum a lot in the grand underground. I think its at the desert that they show up.

Shiny hunting for chansey has been a nightmare, my highest chain was 33 and all my attempts have failed 😭.
there’s a tool online that tells you which spaces feebas can spawn on, then it’s just a matter of raising beauty to max and leveling up (which means you can get a lvl 2 milotic super easily)

Milotic should either be #10 or not on the list. There’s a tool you can use that shows you the exact spot where to fish to find feebas and all you have to do is make one batch of dry poffins to evolve it. It’s not really difficult at all.
What tool are you referring to? I don't think I know about it and I spent nearly 2 hours doing it the hard way lol.

With Milotic and oran berries use multiple berries that give you beauty because it lowers the chance of the puffin being unusable

lol I had literally no idea because I beat Mars on a Thursday, progressed a decent chunk further along, and then came back to the game the next day and went to check the Windworks… and there it was.
Can driflim only be obtained on the Friday after you beat Mars? Or after that aswell?
I caught both Rayquaza and Lugia today on the first Quick ball toss. Full health and no status effects or anything lol
