    I enjoy your vlogs! Keep doing them...bc it's one thing to just talk about credit cards and travel benefits, but it's great that you show people real life examples!!!

    For $1300 a night, I would expect resort privileges to be included, parking too. It's highway robbery to charge $40 a night for parking, the same for resort privileges. And it sounds like the hotel price gouges for food, also. I think I'll stick with Hampton Inn by Hilton. I wasn't very impressed with the $1300 room. At the Hampton, you get a complimentary breakfast bar each morning. Further, at Embassy Suites, you get a complimentary breakfast buffet complete with a made-to-order omelet! It just seems the mid-range hotels are a much better value.

      Agreed. I think their target market is the "I don't care about money" type. My motivation with cards is to stay at places I wouldn't otherwise pay for, so this kind of works out (and hopefully saves other people money/points).
      JW Marriot has been a sweet spot for me.

    Such a bad day to pick...Laguna Niguel is the one of most beautiful and expensive city in Orange County. If you’re going again, visit Thousands steps beach and Mission San Juan Capistrano.
    The room with beach view is the best!

    Thanks for letting me know about the $80 hidden fees. Mandy seemed to be insightful too even if the ducks spooked her. Lol

      They’re not hidden fees, on the Marriott website it states their resort fee and parking fee for every hotel (if applicable)

    Nice video, but this whole property seemed lackluster. Especially with the parking and resort fees.

    Saving my 3nights for half moon bay or ft lauderdale even though is tier 3

    • @MasterJP28
      @MasterJP28 7 ปีที่แล้ว

      Noz Tradamus ft lauderdale??? Idk if it's because I'm a Floridian but just find something that's more bang for your buck because the beach is everywhere here. A drive/Uber/lyft to the beach quick.

    • @KanSun787
      @KanSun787 7 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      well, i'm planning domestic flight and already tired of new england, hawaii & orleans.

    • @MasterJP28
      @MasterJP28 7 ปีที่แล้ว

      I understand. Don't know exactly what kind of trip you're looking for but east coast Florida has more life and people and west coast Florida has better beaches. Ft Lauderdale is a nice alternative to Miami I just don't want you to get ripped off by some of the places by the beach when there are other options you can consider. But if it's Ritz, Ft Lauderdale to Biscayne is great although Bal Harbour tends to be pricier.

    Which Tier 4 locations? In no particular preference,
    Barcelona (has Enoteca, a 2-star Michelin establishment: www.ritzcarlton.com/en/hotels/spain/barcelona/dining/enoteca)
    Kapalua
    Lake Tahoe
    Okinawa
    Out of any R-C location, regardless of Tier? The HK (Tier 5) one hands down, as it is the tallest hotel in the world.
    Unfortunately it may be quite some time before I can make much utility of the Visa Infinite airfare portal...

    $1300 a night for the room that you got free BUT $80 a day not counting food? I'll pass but look forward to your next one from LA.

    This Ritz property now has fake grass, yeah real classy. Even the public park next to it can afford real grass, and parking is only $1/hr at the park.

    Parking fee and Resort fees on top of for $500 a night is a total rip-off

    • @AskSebby
      @AskSebby  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Agreed that resort fees are dumb, especially when there aren't really any real "resort" benefits.
