I have a secular teacher who always says God doesn't have a gender. While I agree with him in a sense, I have a hard time communicating the doctrine because if I say God has revealed himself as Father, they respond that God has chosen his pronouns then. Any good resources on this that I can look into?

Here’s a couple articles I might suggest:
1) Core Christianity - FAQ: Does God Have a Gender?
2) Answers in Genesis - Is God Male or Female?
