So she came to that battle with basic popping skills. I really went into this battle with no bias. Love popping and Krump. Eyex has concepts, on beat, hat-tricks, crowd involvement, and levels to his craft. She came in strong on the 2nd round with the intro and left you wanting to see more than just basic popping steps. She honestly just couldn’t catch up to him. Eyex set the pace and she just couldn’t match it at all.

If you're a krumper, then obviously you'll favor aggressive behavior and crowd reaction. But most dancers, like myself, are looking for musicality, story-telling, good form, lack of repitition, the extent to which a dancer gets into character and clowns his/her opponent, AND aggression (not necessarily disrepect). It's obvious where Tight Eyez excels, but he needs to focus more on dancing rather than doing hat and shoe magic. Incorporating a few tricks is fine, but you shouldn't spend the majority of the rounds doing them because they become repetitive and predictable after a while. It's analogous to a bboy who focuses solely on power moves, which the casual viewer will always react more strongly to.

nah basically our battle wont happen i aint got time for that lol.. but yeah they pushed the movement far as hell im just saying we all was popping, breakdancing, (beat street and breakin') clowning, and doing the dances on music videos like missy elliot as soon as rize came out i was basically like im trying to dance like a real man it appealed to me and i swear as soon as i seen the movie i was searching krump on google found krump kings eventually and using whatever was right before youtube (putfile or some shit) then later that year 2005 youtube came out and i was searching it on there and ive been hooked ever since.. seen shake city when the whole thing was on youtube.. bought the dvds krump was the dance that i was most interested in ever since i still watched other dances like salah (thats why when the original trix did that salah move i immediately thought he was trash after) retro (and yes he lost did the same ol moves we all seen and the one he did when he battled milk), poppin john poppin hyun or whatever hella break dance stuff but krump to me is the superior dance it kills off popping... we dont know who created those dances but i feel les twins created their own style of dance you cant really put it into a category like krump but like i said im passionate about krump and all i try to do is learn constantly from everyone and try to build the perfect style for me learning from peoples mistakes and of course virtually getting trained by eyez and more thats why i will never try to battle him because even though lil c story was what got me to krump and what slayer was saying tight eyez pushed the movement so far and was obviously more skilled than them all after the movie.. and i dont think people realize rize was not only the only dance documentary but the only documentary thats been in theatres lol... thats crazy and its the most hated dance i know i be contributing but its all out of love i cant be fake i never could be..

Although both were entertaining to watch I think Angyil should've won because of her musicality. It felt like eyex's crowd was just going off of the moves he pulled, but he wasnt on beat. He did better the "third" round, but clearly because Angyil gave him that ear check from round two. And he didn't even let her finish the third round. Honestly i thought that was disrespectful

To be honest this was very cringey! This battle should've been on a platform or stage that isolates the dancers from their entourage, homies or '' support''. That way it will be a direct exchange. I like how krumping break the rules of these hip hop and funk battles are based on. However, krumping needs to figure out ways to be self reliant. lets see krumpers face someone without hype group that act like Neanderthals discovering porn hub with each Hat tricks even tho is ridiculously irrelevant, repetitive, and insignificant. This who battle is like based on expedient competition. Angyil does way better in other battles. If you're a krumper, then obviously you'll favor aggressive behavior and crowd reaction. But most dancers, like myself, are looking for musicality, story-telling, good form, lack of repitition, the extent to which a dancer gets into character and clowns his/her opponent, AND aggression (not necessarily disrepect). It's obvious where Tight Eyez excels, but he needs to focus more on dancing rather than doing hat and shoe magic. Incorporating a few tricks is fine, but you shouldn't spend the majority of the rounds doing them because they become repetitive and predictable after a while. It's analogous to a bboy who focuses solely on power moves, which the casual viewer will always react more strongly to.
