I fished Tonka a few weeks ago with a buddy who lives up there. We threw weightless senkos under the docks. Did pretty well.

That fish you caught pulling out the birds nest, just proves your guy's baits are legit. But on appearance and smell alone. Can't wait to get some, missed the first batch.

we just had a huge Hmong July 4th bass tournament on tonka. they were all fishing deep and looking for rock piles. docks produced as well. but mainly deep structures. jigs to DD cranks or even drop shots worked. pot for the j4 tournament was 10k!!! winning bag was 28lbs 8 fishes.

Today was my 2nd time ever using a bait caster, only 3 bird nests. Really love how it sends light lures further than my spinning.
Hey Jon you should plan another trip to come to Australia mainly Fnq (far north Queensland) and target a wide range of fish for example jungle perch (jp) sooty grunter and barra. It would be sick!!! to see this type of "mini" series.
You gotta come to falcon lake down In South Texas jon! You will without a doubt catch some big ones. We were rated he number one bass lake a few years back!

If you’re going to Lake st Clair check out Fords cove ! If you’re aiming for some large mouth and just outside the cove during the morning about 10 feet from the shore of the cove a lot of small mouth hammering craw fish between the rocks ! Tubes and ned rings with a 1/4 ounce weight on a calm day is perfect! Maybe 1/2 ounce if it’s the water is rough saint Clair can get rough.
I’ve gotta secret big bass lake in MN, but it’s a 4 hour drive south of brainerd and a 45 minute drive from where I live. Everyone doubts the lake because they think there’s too many weeds. You always got the whole lake to yourself. It’s doesn’t have 10 pounders but it has an abundance of 4 and 5 pounders.

Tonka's a great lake! I'd suggest ice fishing there as well. Gnarly to see it shown off a bit!
There is a reservoir here. In northern California You should come fish it. It’s a tough bite. And I would love to see how you make out here !!

Lake minnetonka is super pressured. It's always hard to fish there. It's a hit or miss lake. I went 8hrs once without catching a single fish. However there are giant muskies in minnetonka. Awesome video though!
