ikr we had a project like that on a lego mindstorm but couldn't make it completely follow the white tape, so in the end only a few of us did manage to do it must be the light sensor on it or our programming sucked ....

Definitely programming. I made one with the same challenge the bot followed the line super fast and could determine which path to take of multiple paths.

How many of you replayed the video to try and find the car?
After I watched it a second time, I saw the shadow of the car. Damn, that's sneaky though
It is a metaphor of how the media's cameras capture one angle of a story, but from another angle it is a completely different story!
The music replacing the original audio really helps 'cos I can't help but think that the car would be making a little buzzing noise.

Yup, if you go back and watch it you can clearly see the line, and the shadow of the car underneath the cards. Well played.
The two clips are different. In the first clip, he holds the car in front of the camera (the camera has a front view of the setup) and makes hand gestures. In the second clip he holds it to the raised camera instead of the front view camera and makes no hand gestures.

The car is moved into position by a secret assistant we aren't told of: the car itself. We are never allowed to know the toy can move on its own and undoubtedly makes a noise when doing so (which is obscured by the music).
To me this is hardly a fair "trick" and is only marginally different than simply pausing the camera and inserting the prop right at the splice point, or having it pop up through a trap door.
Here's how to do the trick using slight of hand: Make the car hug the back of the large card. when the card is spun around, ostensibly showing nothing is behind it, do the flip so the smaller card just obscures the bottom half and the car as the large card is spun 360 degrees behind the smaller one. The release the car from the card and expose it.

Don't know where you guys see a shadow. The only Shadow I see is at 0:13 but that's just his arm shadow.
At about 0:13 or 0:14, a shadow suddenly appears under the card he's moving.

The car follows any black line you draw, so he drew a long black line on the table and had the car follow the lines while he was covering it with the cards. Needs perfect timing. And I just replied to a 7 year old comment so chances are you already got it or you won't even see this

I have that car!! I got it when I was a kid, there's two sensors underneath that detect the line and make sure the car doesn't cross it. No magnets needed :)
I brought my line chasers to the gym and they followed the big black line all they way around basketball court! line chasers are so much fun!

It's a line follower it reads a input and if that input is greater than say 950 which is the light amount conning out of the color it will go forward well it has multiple sensors but u get the picture

Though this is a great trick, I would keep it at a different angle because you can see the line on the table and the shadow of the car right before it stops.
Lesson learned: if a magic trick video has music, it means some hidden object makes some sound.

This trick is so clever that it's a shame it cannot work outside a video with music, due to the car sound (and with a special camera angle to hide the lines).
But all in all, very good, refreshing :)

The mystery is how the red card does extra magic damage to both the target and all enemies within 100 range of the target. All damaged enemies will also be slowed for 2.5 seconds.
