@@tmuckle Thanks for the response. I don't understand how a company would release a product with wobbly knobs. This ain't new technology - make your shit solid and sturdy, it will feel good to use and stand the test of time. Will try to get some time on 1 at Guitar Center and see how it is. Otherwise back to Rane Empath rotary.
@@mumblety96 They say they choose these pots because of the sound quality, but I don’t know about that because it seems they changed away from these pots to warm4. Then again there are few great mixer in the past that uses same kind of plastic shaft pots.
@@tmuckle Yeah I have a huge problem with this. It's 2023 and and having solid controls is not an engineering challenge. Where else have they cut corners? Will see if local Guitar Center has one to try, but if they're wobbly that's a deal killer. Will get another Empath rotary.
@@tmuckle No doubt about that.Eyeballing this mixer a while now and the master sounds radius 2 also.Im kind of driven towards the radius 2 as im getting the master sounds effects unit for my Xone 96 but the eclair has those features what the radius does not have and its half the price...
@@tmuckle as I say “might” be :) Good that you are happy with yours. (I give up to mines and stick to Ortofon clubs) By the way : can you compare (if you have experience) the sound (quality and presents) between warm2 and Allen and Heath Xone ? Thank you ! Excellent mix !
I had Xone23 just for a little while. Nothing special to it in my opinion. Warm2 is more detailed and clean sounding. Xone23 had a bit too harsh upper register. But then again both are good when matched with right cart. Still Warm2 is nicer in my opinion.
Happy New Year 🎆 The Frankie Paradise Network. NYC

Nice sounds - good mix, thanks. What is the track 52:30 pls?
Probably Art Bleek - Pacific Coast Highway
@@tmuckle Thank you! 😊😊
👌👌😎😎
Haven't listened to the mix yet but I have a question: How are the knobs on the Ecler? Wobbly and cheap feeling, or solid?
Thanks!
EQ pots are plastic so they may feel a bit wobbly compared to other ones, but they’re not bad.

First track ID pls
Agree, a nice atmosphere is created! 👏
Thanks. Pacific Coast Highway by Art Bleek.

I would say it’s probably Catch The Sun by The Shadow Kings.
Phonogenic - Cheap Drinks
How do you find the ecler?
It’s pretty nice. Channel pots and ISO’s got nice feeling and SQ is good. Still prefer my Bozak.

@@gal3sz are you using rec out , if so any issues, mine trim would have to be really really low to get a decent reading while recording...
any recommendations for the "perfect" needle with warm 2 ?
Well I like to use a few different options depending on the mood or what I’m playing. Ortofon Club, AT XP5/7, even Nagaoka MP110.
@@tmuckle AT XP 5/7 might disappoint you. I have XP7 and the sound is not good as it should be (highs are low) and the needle is verry unstable.
@@СтефанАтанасов-у5ы Did not disappoint me. 5 and 7 works perfectly and sounds good. Maybe something wrong with yours?

Im curious, you replied in one of the comments that you still prefer you're Bozak, why did you bought another rotary mixer then?
Sometimes I just like to experiment with equipment but the main reason is I need one mixer that I can carry around when needed.
