Please could you do a vid on how to design weapons
just purchased ... plugged into PC and appeared to work in Blender. BUT ... no instructions on setting programmable buttons or other tweaks and could find nothing on VEIKK website either! Was invited to download driver but WHY, given the tabley appears to work after plugging in?
I do not know the exact specifics of your situation, but most drawing tablets DO require you to download the Driver for it to work. In the Driver application is where you can usually assign shortcut keys, adjust pen pressure, calibrate, etc
If you do not install the driver, it might still work as a substitute for your mouse, but it won't have all of the features
HOPEFULLY that helps, if not I recommend emailing their support

I did subsequently download the driver which, as you surmised, came with some means to set up the tablet and pen. it was not especially helpful in explaining the assigning of functions to the buttons on the pen and tablet. I sometimes wonder if developers actually trial their products on real people.
@@Jack-bs6zb Oh damn sorry to hear, It's been over a year since I've made this video so I don't really remember what I did specifically. I usually only use the tablets sent to me for a few days to get a feel for it and then move on
If the driver isn't clear about how to set that up and you can't find anything in the quick start guide or the website page that is disappointing

Outta curiousity what's your opinion on screen tablets vs non screen tablets? Oh and which one do u personally use? (If u don't mind me asking)
The reason I ask is because I use a small wacom intuos for my work and have been pondering buying a screen tablet hoping it would help in anyway😕

In short though, I personally prefer screen tablets. It's always been difficult for me to get used to not seeing exactly where I am drawing. I have a traditional art background so drawing on something like an Ipad comes more natural to me than a pen tablet. I personally use a Wacom Cintiq 13HD, I've had it since like 2012 and it's held up really well. I never had a reason to upgrade it, it gets the job done
If you are content with using a pen tablet like the Intuos, then that's great. If you're like me and you like seeing exactly where you are working, then a screen tablet is the way to go. Make sure to poke around when window shopping, bigger brands like Wacom tend to overcharge for Screen Tablets compared to other brands like XP-PEN, Huion, Gaomon etc. Just check the specs on the product pages, most tablets have the same exact screen resolution, pen pressure sensitivity etc
The difference is price is usually from the metal that's used, the size of the tablet, and the brand

@@MonitorComics Tysm this does help a bunch but I'll still check the vid anyway. Since I don't have an art background, this sorta stuff gets confusing but I can also kinda go either way in terms of tablets.
Also interesting since I hardly hear from people that have owned tablets like Cintiqs for long periods as opposed to cheaper products like the Intuous. I'll definitely consider those aspects in mind when window shopping so thanks again🙏🏻

I'm honestly surprised with how well my Cintiq held up. I still use the original cables and stylus it came with too
The only time I could see myself buying another tablet is if it breaks completely or one of these companies sends me a nice screen tablet
