Just got this amp for Christmas and it’s a beast I’m running 2 12s kicker comps and they bump im just always considering keeping the bass boost at 6db but people say never to touch it
@@edp9517 you might be able to get away with just lithium. My truck has 6k watts and I run a 270a alt and a large lithium battery. I have zero voltage drop.
Perfect size if you don't want to stress a normal car electrical system too much and dim the headlights. You step up the the 1,200 it starts to screw with stuff.
@@edp9517 You might need a new battery if it's been a while. I just replaced the one on my car and it's going great with the RP800 holding voltage. You can oversize the battery a little and that can help if it still fits in the spot. Get the highest cold cranking amps you can.
So question, im looking into getting the marine verison of this amp, i have two Skar EVL-65 | 6.5" 400 Watt Max 200 Watt RMS 4ohm subs, with the Amp Rating at RMS Power at 4 Ohms 370 Watts x 1 Channel, would both subwoofers get 370w if wired in series to keep 4ohm? just trying to get a better explanation about it.
Efficiency was a lot better than I thought. Thanks for the video.

I have been using this amp for almost 2 years. Has been a champ.
Have you upgraded electrical system ?
@@edp9517 no, but that car only had an 80amp alt. It really needed the electrical upgraded.
@@Chris_G_541 my Camry has 100a alt but amp keep clipping and dropping mad voltage

Running this on my stock Camry and dropping voltage to 9-11v 😢

Would love to see an audio ace❤
Cool. Basic amp, basic price. Seems good to me.
Please test the avatar 2k or the 3500 please ..😊
I have this little beast on a rp15" box is 3.8 cubes tuned to 30hz, it gets down
Just picked up the marine version with damaged packing from Amazon. $94.00

@@DopeLobbies wire parallel to 1 ohm because you'll rise into almost no power wired at 4. Just gain conservatively.
@@Facekicker sweet, looks like I’ll be doing that
It is great that they are rated properly. Seems like these RP’s just don’t have good reliability. I don’t hear anything bad about the SK’s in general.
The only thing I do not like about this amp is, there is vocals still coming out the LP filtering though :/
yeah cheaper amps seem to have a 12db slope on the crossover which isnt as good as the 24db that the more expensive amps come with.
👍👍👍...
I bet china had 1000 watts on it before skar rebadged it lol.
934@1ohm
Very close!

The birds amp... cheapcheapcheap.
$127, not a bad deal
These amps are trash. I had one blow up on me and I wasn’t even pushing it hard
User error bud. Had mine 5 years
