If anyone is interested in the film, it’s called “The Color of Pomegranates”. Each scene is like a film unto itself brimming with ritualistic gestures and religious (bordering pagan) overtures. I’m in love with the imagery and the music is like the icing on the cake. Brilliant
The video is the mediaeval ppersonification of Alchemical process to the philosophers stone, in reverse. The book, rose and candle along with the sand bowls represent the ritualistic spiritual journey that is resurrecting the entombed consciousness. The white and blue outfit she wears is the female anima in the albedo stage, lacing the fabric which contains purity. Otherwise known as the peacocks tail as she wears one on her headgear. This stage is usually followed by rubedo The reddening but the its interlaced with the Nigredo stage or the blackening. Hence the black lace. But yes in the representation of consciousness the male and female are but anima and animus or male or female counterparts in the psychology of one person and the goal to alchemy is the equilibrium and harmony of the best parts of these two separate aspects, action and reaction, and all other polarities stemming from the synchronized dichotomy.
This has alchemy within it. We are the same creation that designed the concept of duality. It is up to us to transcend male and female, anima and animus, to realize the philosophers stone rests within the synergy of these 2 energies.
